Happily, these Sketchers Loafers proved to be more than what I expected. First of all, due to the design they are "Slip on and go". I was able to slip them on without touching the shoes just as they came out of the box -- with no breaking them in at all. The shoes came in a proper shoebox, and a pair of those forms that keep the shoes from getting out of shape or to avoid collapsing altogether enroute...a nice touch, I thought I guess the best thing I can say about this pair of loafers is that they were a perfect fit for my size 10 wide foot, I ordered the extra wide for the first time ever and it proved just right for me. I wish I had been doing so regularly. The feature I had not expected was the air-cushion-feel. They compare favorably to a pair of very expensive air cushion athletic shoes that I once bought. The look of the shoe is more in the flavor of an athletic shoe, too, while maintaining the lightness and comfort of a loafer. The cherry on top for me was that these Sketchers cost less than fifty bucks. The pair of Sketchers I have worn for the last two years of rough daily use, and a lot of walking and slipping them on and off many times a day...they still look good, and I can't seem to wear them out. They are like that pink electric bunny with the uppity attitude. These shoes just keep going...and going...ang going. I expect to get the same long life out of these new Sketchers, as well. Hope this may be of help to someone.

I bought these for casual wear and I'm impressed with how comfortable they are. Of course, part of why I bought them is they slip on. I like a shoe that's easy to get on and off. These are definitely a bit wider in the toe than the shoes I had been wearing. That's a good thing, as the prior shoes were a bit narrow there. I wouldn't mind a bit more arch support, since I have a moderately high arch. But most people will probably be fine with the arch support provided. Maybe the best feature is a wider heel with great cushioning. Overall, these shoes are a terrific value. I don't know how well they'll hold up. I'll circle back if they don't wear well. l

So it's a real crap shoot for shoes on the net. Sometimes you win, sometimes you lose. Well, these new Sketchers with this no lace design is a winner in my book. I would say the size is very much on target as I do have a wide foot and that's what I got. Unlike a lot of laceless shoes and even the ones with the velcro closures these feel like they will stay on your feet. If you have been thinking about going laceless these are the ones to try.....

I been looking for a good non lace type sports shoe for the past few years ,i been going with the velcro strap (i give up on my youth ,these straps prove im an oldman now ) . BUT NO LONGER!! These sketchers have renewed my faith in humanity !!! They are comfortable, they look cool , the are easy to put on !!! And ... I havent had a problem smashing the heel part of the shoe into the sole when i put them on, in other words no 'shoe flats when i put them on standing up !! The sole part rises onto the side of the shoe , which seems to keep the sides of the looking cleaner than if the sides were a solid light color !! I plan on getting the navy color when i see it available. These shoes are a steal and have done wonders for my shoe style ego !!! (No laces , but im still cool ) you cant beat that !!!

I bought these to wear in place of slippers, figured last longer and my dogs won’t eat em. Very comfortable only issue I have was for me I usually wear 10.5, these run a little big so I think 10s would be perfect for me. Other than that I think I’m gonna order another pair to be my everyday shoe, just a half size smaller.

My second pair, enough said? My first pair were everyday knock-arounds and lasted ~2 years. Comfortable & sturdy, the slip on & off just makes life easier (e.g., airports), in the wet, the snow, the summer lawn - all good. Second pair promise the same thus far - appear to be of same construction & quality. Can't beat the price / value ratio for me. Highly recommended.
