I gave my granddaughters (2 and 4 years old) a choice of several styles of water shoes and they both chose these. They were a huge hit all summer. The girls really liked that they lit up as well as the decorations on the shoes (one shoe did stop lighting up after 3 months or use -- the other 3 are still working after 6 months. While ideal for waterparks and pools, these clogs are comfortable enough to be used in all occasions (playgrounds, school, etc.). The material of the shoe is soft and feels more velvety than Crocs. However, the size 5 that I purchased is comparable to a size 4 for other shoes, and runs narrower than Crocs.
