I did a lot of research before I purchase this. I wanted a sup that would hold 2 adults, was very stable, but manageable by one person (both in and out of the water). I also wanted something durable... tough enough for use by teenagers... and accommodating to accessories. And, wow, did this thing deliver! First, it is very durable. I was afraid that with my son and I on it (over 350lbs) that it might pop or bend under the weight... no problem at all. And, its very stable due to the length and width. The width does make it a bit tough to carry with one arm, but its got great grab handles on it to help with that. Given the size, it does take some time to inflate. The included pump with do the job, but you'll break a sweat getting it filled up. A few reviews suggest a powered pump. I haven't gone there yet, but I probably will this season. The bag is comes with is also great... big enough to make it pretty easy to put away. The other accessories are also a nice touch... a small dry bag, leash, phone bag, and more.     • Great value, works well, looks cool
This is now my second Skatinger paddleboard. I would definitely recommend them to my friends. I really appreciate that it comes with some nice features that you usually only find on more expensive boards, like metal hooks (to attach accessories, like a padded seat that turns this into a kayak). You'd be surprised how many inflatable SUPs don't have those. It's actually so convenient to pack up and inflate that I basically don't use my kayaks anymore. The thought of tying those heavy things to the roof of my car now seems insane, I'd much rather just put this in my trunk and go. Plus a paddle board is better for lounging around anyway, I can bring my book with me and just lay down and float all day. I've used three or four different inflatable boards before and the Skatingers are as stable as any I've tried. It took me a few tries before I got my sea legs under me, but once you get past the initial weirdness of standing on the water it becomes really easy. Maybe the ones that are twice as expensive are more stable, or move faster through the water, I don't really know or care. I'm not racing in this thing, I'm relaxing! ... show more

I love this paddle board!! It is very sturdy and fits both of us comfortably enough to where even if sitting at the edge with our legs off to the same side it won’t flip! It comes with everything you need and is easy to store. Of course, it’s a pretty long board so its slightly heavy to haul in the backpack together with the pump and other accessories but at the end its convenience outweighs that. The only thing I personally will change is the pump because it did take me about 10 minutes to inflate it and my arms felt a bit like noodles afterwards but i’m also not a very active person so maybe someone fit would definately have it up and ready in 5 mins. The handles on that paddle board are just very well placed and convenient! I didn’t know I needed them until I had them, haha! All in all, a great buy! ... show more

    • Easy to carry, unpack, & pack! Love it!
I am super clumsy and I’m a beginner at paddle boarding so I was looking for the widest, most stable board I could find! This one is perfect! It has fit me, my 7 year old, and his friend on it with space before.. it’s like a boat. lol The bag it comes in has comfortable backpack straps and fits everything in it without having to cram. The paddle are really easy to put together. The accessories that come with the board are convenient too- the dry bag and the cute floating waterproof phone pouch with the lanyard are my fave. I bought this board so I could do some paddle boarding with my daughter. We live by the ocean. I haven’t had a chance to use it yet, but we’ve inflated it. So far after inflating it, the quality appeared very good, it felt very sturdy. I was concerned about how inflatable paddleboard would feel in comparison to a solid one. It felt just as sturdy. I feel comfortable taking this in the ocean with my daughter. Great board. Looking forward to trying it out. Love the colors and pattern too! We have loved this paddleboard over the last year! Everytime we go out, my husband and I argue over who gets to ride the paddleboard and who has to ride the kayak. It’s very stable and doesn’t take long to learn to use. The only hard part is inflating it, which does take quite awhile (around 10 minutes) if done by hand with the included pump. This year we plan to buy an electric pump so that that’s not so much of a concern. ... show more

I'm a bigger fella, 300 lbs and 5'8, and this board when inflated is absolutely a rock underneath me. It feels more secure to me than my wifes solid state sit in kayak. I love the easy of paddling and the storage options with it. My closest thing to a ding against it is that it takes a while to pump up by hand, but the auto pumps are fairly cheap, so I just snagged one of those, and I am loving it. would definitely recommend for someone looking for a board for a bigger person, or for something to take a kid along with you. (My 8 year old and I loved cruising out in the water together) ... show more

We bought this for our son for his birthday last fall. He was finally able to take this out a couple of times now and it’s easy to use. I will say we bought him an electric pump but he did forget it one day and he said it only took him about 10 min to blow it up with the pump it came with.
