The skateboard trainers really helped me get over the fear of jumping on my board. Although I am still learning how to ollie I’ve learned a significant amount of skill/technique with the skateboard trainers rather than without them. TIP: Use the skateboard trainers for as long as you want but if you want to ease off of them and try it yourself, use a crack in the sidewalk/road/etc. to stabilize your board and keep it in one place. These do what they say they will. They keep my kid’s skateboard from rolling away while he does stuff on the board. He is 7 and the wheels on the skateboard are small, but these work and have room to expand. Kid put them on himself as well.
