I see a lot of the reviews complain about the size of the holes on the mount itself for the screws that hold the deck— they’re tight for a purpose. They hold the long screws tightly so the board doesn’t wiggle around once mounted up. I think the whole set up is perfectly constructed! Sleek, easy to set up and does the job well. These are great. There are similar skateboard display hangers out there but these look the best IMHO. The only issue I've found is that sometimes the holes in the acrylic that house the longer screws aren't drilled properly, so screwing in the longer screws can be a pain. Only happens randomly, though. Still highly recommended. Used to buy these on 1xRun so having them on Amazon is nice since they ship free. ... show more

    • Great concept but rough execution
I love how these things look and they seem really sturdy, but getting the two long screws through was a chore I’d give my most annoying enemy. The holes they go through are slightly too big and the screw heads seem to have been made with copper purchased from Ea-Nasir that strips almost instantly upon encountering any kind of resistance. I got through this on my other screws by using a pair of vice grips and manually turning the screws until they were far enough in to drill. Also, be aware, the act of turning the screws through the plastic makes them incredibly hot. The second issue was that you have to anchor them to the wall after the long screws are installed, which means you need a drill with an extender to reach the screw at all. I supposed if you’re using a screwdriver it’s alright, but I was going directly into wood with these things. Once everything was together and my hands were healed from their various wounds sustained during the install, it looked pretty sick. The decks are up off the ground, which is about all I wanted. For $6 a piece, I guess I was willing to suffer. ... show more

    • Skateboards as art!
Does the trick perfectly. Easy to install and mount a skateboard. Some may not like the acrylic block for aesthetic reasons, but its covered by the board when mounted. I can't think of any reason not to buy this if you're mounting a skateboard.
