  • Not the worst
These are, in essence, walmart wheels. They're softer than the 99a listed, and probably not urethane, but if you're on a tight budget you could do a lot worse. I bought the purple/white swirl ones. The included bearings I received were not Bullseye, but instead generic chrome bearings in a tube. They were so heavily lubricated that the oil was leaking into the package. It's ridiculous. If you cleaned them and applied the appropriate amount of speed cream I'm sure they'd be okay for a couple weeks. If you're purchasing these then definitely get better bearings as well. The wheels themselves have a bit of resistance when rolling, and don't feel as smooth as you'd expect from a more quality brand. I'd describe them as passable. I would still recommend Spitfire or Bones if you actually intend to skate. So what are these useful for? Well, I bought them to use with skate trainers. With skate trainers applied these wheels are perfect - Since they don't have to roll! Plus it means I can have a dedicated skate trainer wheel and not have to remove/put the skate trainers back on every time I want to skate. It's a lot easier to just swap the wheels and leave the skate trainers on these. So for 10 dollars it's a good value, especially how I'm using them. Just don't expect to be able to bring these to the park and get good results. If you're a parent looking to cheap out, please don't. Spend the money on proper equipment not only to make sure the experience is pleasant, but also to avoid potential injury. It's a lot harder to learn on cheap gear like this and you're creating a disadvantage. It will not perform properly and quickly need replacing. This goes for all aspects of the skateboard. ... show more

  • Not a real ABEC 7 grade bearings. "WARP SPEED ABEC 7" is just a name, not a grade of bearing
Color: Black Size: 50mm
I would have given these bearings 5 stars if they did not have ABEC 7 stamped on the shield, very misleading. Quality bearings have the trade numbers stamped on the shield. A true ABEC 7 this size would be used on machine tools and would cost about $8-15, or more, each. They are used in applications as fast as 30,000 rpm. These have shields that say "WARP SPEED ABEC 7". If you carefully hold the inner race you can feel the outer race rocking with slight rocking motion of your hands. You can even see the loose clearance by looking at the changing space by repeating the rocking, off axis, motion of your fingers. Having designed and purchased machines for 5 decades, I would never used these bearings on industrial machines. Junk for machines but great for skateboards. That being said, these ARE the kind of bearings a degreed engineer would specify for skate board wheels. You do NOT want high precision, high cost, bearings here as ease of rotation is what you want and loose tolerances provide what you want. They are also much cheaper and therefor can be replaced as needed without much cost. Also, the shocks encountered when hitting cracks in the pavement would destroy the precision of true ABEC 7 bearings. Check this out with any bearing manufacturer's web site. ... show more

  • On roller skates?
Color: Red Gel Size: 58mm
I bought two packs because I am using them for my roller skates. I bought the "gel" wheels. They are maybe 40mm wide? Which I think is wider than the harder wheels; looks like it in the pictures. With the clever use of washers I was able to get them to fit without rubbing the trucks, but they were way too wide for the skates I originally bought them for. Not a big deal for the price. The bearings are fully caged, not like the ones pictured. ... show more

  • Cheap wheels at a cheap price.
Color: Red Size: 56mm
The bearings came with non-removable metal shields, not removable rubber shields as shown. These don’t roll as fast or coast as long as more expensive name brand wheels. But for the price, they are okay wheels. It was nice that they included bearing shims and center bearing spacers with the wheels and bearings. I never ride wheels without spacers and bearing shims. ... show more

  • Can't go wrong for the price
Color: Light Blue Size: 52mm
You really can't go wrong for the price. I've been skateboarding for a long time and I've ridden the most expensive wheels and bearings as well as some of the cheapest. Honestly I can't feel a big difference between these and wheel/ bearing combos that cost 4x's as much. My only complaint is the lubricant that comes in the bearings is way too thick, definitely not a skate formula, so they will take quite a while to break in. If it really bothers you, you can clean out the lubricant with de-greaser and then lube them with Bones Speed Cream or any other skate formula lubricant. ... show more

  • Beginner set
Good looking wheels, bearings could be faster but not bad

  • Decent basic wheels and bearings.
Color: Purple Size: 52mm
Not sure exactly what “Sheerness” is but they are a good basic wheel with bearings for a beginner.
