Seems well made and sturdy. I compared it to our existing, bit more expensive recorder. Sound matches well. Holes are a bit larger and less straight (3rd finger is quite wonky), so my daughter has to get used to getting the entire hole covered with her tiny fingers - I think it will be fine, but it’s noticeable. This recorder is actually less finicky when it comes to how hard you blow, so that will be easier for young kids. Overall, I’m satisfied. I really like this product but the cleaning stick keeps breaking, I even ordered a second one because of this and that one broke too so now I have 2 recorders and no way to clean them but its fine, happy to have a pink clear recorder
