SITKA GEAR APEX PANT The Apex Pant was designed to be the ultimate spot-and- stalk archery hunting pant. A soft micro-grid fleece interior creates a balance between warmth and breathability throughout varied levels of activity while a bonded polyester face delivers durability. Removable knee pads and internal cargo pockets add comfort and function to an already stealthy pant that’s ready to hunt from early season well into the fall. WHY WE MADE THIS When designing the Apex system, we obsessed on scent, sight and sound: the three enemies of the discerning bow hunter. The Apex Pant was engineered to eliminate unwanted noise by leveraging an ultra-quiet face fabric and eliminating excess material between your feet. Adding technical features like internal mesh organizer pockets, prevents your essential gear–rangefinders, wind check, releases–from rattling around, and integrated knee pads keep you comfortable and focused on the approach.

3am 1000' elevation hikes through thorns/thicket, scrub oak and these pants don't even look used. They're quiet enough to get you past obstacles without waking up the herds. I run hot normally and these pants with light base layers on the legs were more than sufficient for 25f-60f conditions we hunted in. They fit waist true to measurement, I'm 5'10", 180-185ish, wear a 33 x 32 in most pants, and the 34r was perfect. I used the kneepads and also have a knee hinged brace on my right leg. ... show more

Great product. The knee pads are weird but actually useful when walking all day and want to knee down in the woods without sitting on something sharp. The weight of it is perfect as well, spent a week in the Colorado mountains elk hunting with the weather at a high of 70 and a low of 40 and it was perfect. Worth the money. ... show more

Ordered these for turkey hunting this spring. Feel good on the legs. Knee pads will be great for stalking turkeys. The knee pads feel a little big. I’m 6’3” and skinny. Ordered a 32t. Fit is perfect. Unsure on the durability as of right now.

Awesome pant, sleek, light and quiet. The knee pads are a huge benefit when stalking elk in the field. Extended sits now are far more tolerable for the knees. Subalpine is by far my favorite pattern for hunting the West.

First off shipping wise: super fast and easy Product: (I already own a pair) these pants are perfect for early and mid season hunting and on the not so frigid winter days with a solid warm base layer your still good put some serious miles and time in a stand in the first pair (still in great shape) I was sold enough to buy another pair! Sizing: they seem to run a little small I tried them on in a store for my first pair so luckily I could size them right but you might want to get a size or two bigger . ... show more

Pants are amazing but they did not come with knee pads that are in the manufacturers description of item. I contacted Sitka and they said some Amazon sellers do not provide knee pads and that I could purchase them if I wanted.
