  • 5.0 out of 5 stars Great product
This microwave egg cooker is great. There is a little learning curve to it but once you figure it out it works great. I use a little melted butter in the base and then put 2 eggs in. I usually poke the yolks because I don't like runny yolks. I then add A FEW drops of water. Pop open the steam vent and cook for about a minute. The eggs slide right out and are just the way I like them. It is also easy to beat the eggs and make any kind of mixture you like. Just make sure the ingredients you use are not raw as the cooking time is very short and they will not be cooked before the eggs are done. I have used ham, bacon, chicken, cheese, and left over veggies. The watery veggies are not so great (zucchini and most squash) as they pop and make eggs look unappetizing. Too much water tends to make the eggs pop and look ugly but they still taste good. ... show more

  • 5.0 out of 5 stars Great for cooking eggs
I make my wife an egg sandwich with shredded cheese and diced ham sandwich (on a whole wheat muffin) most mornings. Works great! I believe I saw a video online about how to use it - and it's so easy. I did learn that wiping it out after use is ok - and it doesn't have to go through the dishwasher after every use. The most important thing is learning how to use the microwave properly so the egg mixture doesn't "explode" in the cooker. Every microwave is different - trust me - we have 5 microwaves in our different homes and I have to relearn the cook process every time we move. Generally, if I use 70% power and break the cooking time into at least two sections of 30-45 seconds, all is well. However, I found out yesterday that the microwave here at our main residence works better at 60% power. It also makes a difference if you place the cooker in the center of the carousel or on the out edge. You will no doubt have to experiment like I did to find the right combination of times and power....and location inside the microwave. But it works great once you find the sweet spot. ... show more

  • 5.0 out of 5 stars Poached eggs anywhere!
I love eggs for breakfast but can't cook them at work...until now! I make myself fresh breakfast sandwiches with a poached egg all the time and my coworkers can't believe I have such good results with a microwave cooker. Make sure you watch the timing, it's easy to overcook them and the eggs WILL explode. Or egg-splode if you enjoy the pun. :) ... show more

  • 5.0 out of 5 stars Perfect for breakfast sandwiches
Super quick and easy to use! Makes the perfect egg to add in breakfast sandwiches or on top of toast. This can also be thrown in the dishwasher, making the cleaning process simple.

  • 4.0 out of 5 stars Wish it was a bit smaller
After suffering with an unvented egg cooker that would open explosively in the microwave, showering the interior with egg splatter, I bought this product. That vent is key, and the cooker stays closed and cooks the egg thoroughly. My only gripe is that I wish it were just a bit smaller. The cooked egg hangs off the edge of the English muffins I use in my breakfast sandwiches. Yeah, first-world problem :-) It cleans very easily and the cooked egg does not stick to the interior. Overall I am happy with it. ... show more

  • 5.0 out of 5 stars Great, great, great!
A squirt of Pam, sceamble an egg with a fork, and cook for 37 seconds (jumbo egg). Add to a bagel or English muffin, cheese and a slice of Canadian Bacon and you have a quick breakfast. I bought mine in May 2017 and gave used it hundreds of times! The best product of its type out there.

  • 5.0 out of 5 stars My son LOVES this!!!
Bought this for my son so he can make eggs for breakfast before school (isn't a fan of cereal). And this is probably one of the best items we've ever gotten him! He cracks open an egg, drops it in, and he can walk away to do other things while it's cooking. And since the poached egg needs to sit for a minute afterwards, it's perfect for him! He has started adding other ingredients such as precooked bacon and sausage and is having yummy successes there!! He is 13.5 and cooked basic stuff on the stove top. But this is a lot easier to deal with during the morning rush. ... show more
