The media could not be loaded. I've had this for two months and so far I've been using it close to everyday. One of my favorite purchases from Amazon. I had a small apartment when I first got this, so this worked beautifully to remedy the lack of space for a side table. It's also very sturdy. The flaps on the underbelly clasp tightly around the arm of my chair, which I would say is at most 3.5 to 4 inches. You do have to be careful though (comes with a warning label), because the wooden clamps can pinch you if you aren't too careful. The stand is more for a phone or an iPad mini.
