For some reason, I had such a hard time finding any 90/14 sized needles that I immediately jumped at the chance to buy these, not even noticing that they were clearly labeled as "Embroidery". That was entirely my fault, and I was afraid that I had accidently bought the wrong thing; however, I had already opened the package before I even noticed the mistake, so I decided to give these a try anyway with my non-embroidery sewing project.
