  • Pretty good value for an island boy, five pounds for price of two pounds here.
Used for redwood siding, seams good, bends easily if you hit something hard, mostly the value is what I appreciate.

  • Great choice for my cedar siding.
Checkered head blends as well as a 304 stainless head nail will blend with wood. I don't seem to have the issue with nails bending as bad as others. I also swing a Stiletto hammer with more precision than many others. If you can't strike the nail head absolutely parallel, expect some bent nails. It should be obvious, but do not use a milled faced hammer either (use smooth face only). ... show more

  • Didn't have bending issues, would use again
Used to fasten cedar bevel siding. These did fine, only couple bent unless I hit another nail underneath the siding.

  • Many bent nails!
There were warnings in the reviews about how easily these nails bent but I wrote those off to inexperienced people. Well my arrogance definitely caught up with me! I used these to nail up poplar siding on my house. Poplar is not that hard of a wood. At first I started counting the bent nails but quickly gave that up. My guess is that I bent in the area of 30-40% of the nails and had to pull them out. Predrilling the holes helped a bit but I still ended up with a large pile of bent nails. The good news is that I bought more than I needed and it's all done - and hopefully they won't rust. ... show more

  • I ordered the 2 inch product and apparently the 2, and a half inch product was substituted
I cannot use the product as recieved, the nails are too long, and will in some cases, accidently come in contact with the electrical wiring if used. This is a case when product substitution can burn your house down. Bad form Amazon!

  • STAINLESS SIDING NAIL
These are an excellent nail for cedar or redwood SIDING. They don't bleed, they don't pull back and the small head is nearly invisible.

  • Expensive and bend easily
I paid $42 for 5 lbs. of these. I have to do a subfloor and nail into the corrosive pressure treated wood joists. The nails are a little thin and have a tendency to bend. Update. I found out that if you use a pair of pliers and hold the nail while nailing, they will bend a lot less.
