The manual was super easy to read, and it was fast and easy to get the tool into operation.This tool performed flawlessly and dialing in the depth adjustment was super easy and super precise. aside from the plastic nail roll holder, it is built well and seems pretty tough. I put about 250 nails through it, and it did not jam or misdrive a nail once. It’s never a good idea to throw your air tools around, and this tool is no exception. Much better reliable feeding and consistent nail setting than the Bostitch nailer I have especially with plastic collated nails. I do wish it had a belt hook like the Bostitch though especially considering it's significantly more expensive. Overall great reliable nailer so far.

I am building a barn and have not had to hand drive a single nail. I am using saw mill lumber for board and batten siding and this nail gun has not faltered all summer through 3 boxes of nails (3600 per box). It has plenty of power to drive 2 1/4" nails into pressure treated and I trust the Metabo quality (along with the framing gun, roofing gun, and finish nailers from Metabo I already own). I checked prices at big box stores and Amazon had the best price and value for the money. It is light (compared to a framing nailer) and easy to operate while up on ladders and walk boards. It shot the first five nails as expected. On the sixth it broke the head off a nail and lodged the rest in the gun. That would have been OK except it shifted the remaining unfired nails to were the press release would not allow me to open the cover to fix the problem. It is very difficult to remove the outer cover. Be careful, there are two small springs under there. Finally removed it , as difficult to get back on. To be fair I was not using Metabo nails. I bought a box of Mitabo nails after the issue. We will see if they work any better ! ... show more

I am a do-it-yourself homeowner amateur at its best. The Metabo Siding Nailer. Plug and Play. This nailer made my siding project so much easier. I completed a 30 foot light well and the siding of my home. In that duration, I only had two hiccups, and I believe it has something to do with the nails more than anything else.
