Received the brush on April 4th and went to use it today to find some of the bristles are getting rusty. Not sure how long it will last if its developing rust. It works nice on the toilet.

    • Unscrewing head not intuitive

This is the first time I bought a replacement head and figured how hard could it be to unscrew it? But I kept turning and turning and you could see it looked a bit loosened but it was not budging in terms of coming off. Meanwhile, the white handle on the other end of the silver shaft kept loosening as well which was annoying me. It took a while to realize that the only way to actually unscrew the head was to unscrew that bottom part of the white handle. It's a long piece that goes inside the silver shaft and then screws into the head. So you're basically disassembling the whole thing to get the head off and then have to put it back together. It’s built kind of weird maybe I just don’t know how to use it. Structure is hollow in the middle because the top handle twists open. I wish that the product was more solid.

This plunger is sturdier then any previous 🪠 I have owned. Taller to toilet water doesn't splash on you. Seals well as it loosens you know what. I highly recommend this product.

7/26 Update: The weather strip with zip tie was sliding down due to the weight of the toilet brush and spreading adhesive on the metal tube. So, I replaced the fix with some white Sugru. It looks much better. I will have to wait 24 hours for it to set but this looks like the way to go. Sugru can withstand getting wet and should hold up better than the previous method, hopefully. Original Review: It is probably too soon for me to write a review because I just received it. But, after reading some reviews here, two common issues popped up: 1. mangled brush because the magnets weren't strong enough to keep the brush elavated enough from pushing against the bottom of the caddy. 2. the loosening of the threads attaching the brush to the pole while cleaning. So, 1. I went ahead and zip-tied some weather stripping to the neck area above where the magnets attach to the caddy to keep the brush elevated enough from pressing on the caddy's floor. Anyone can pick up on this idea and use anything from a hose clamp, gopro bike seat clamp, to a 3D printed locking collete matching the contours of where it connects to the caddy, or wrapping lots of tape thick enough to support it. Just note that this creates a fulcrum where the brush can tip out if you aren't careful. 2. Teflon thread tape to secure the brush to the pole. That should help although the drawback would be replacing the tape each time you replace the brush. Since I just got the brush, these ideas are untested. I might change the zipties to something aesthetically better at a later time. ... show more
