This review is for Simplee Womens Wedding Guest Floral Maxi Dress. This dress is so comfortable and pretty. I ordered XL in black. This dress runs true to size. The color and floral pattern are pretty and exactly as pictured. It is a versatile dress that can be dressed down or dressed up. It is double layered with black underlining and a sheer floral fabric on top that is soft. The black underlining runs almost the entire length of the dress, not in the sleeves, so there is no need for an undergarment slip. There are no zippers or buttons to this dress, so its a no fuss dress for me. It is made with elastic around the bust that allows for stretching, so if you are large or small breasted it should still fit and be comfortable. It is not cut too low, and the waist has an empire feel to it. It drapes off the body and is not form fitting. I love that I did not feel I needed to wear any body smoothing undergarments with this dress because of the way it is made and its flowy nature. It is also breathable which is awesome during these warm summer months. This dress is flowy, flattering and comfortable all while being modest too. Im sad that there's no pocket to this dress. The construction of this dress seems durable, and I did not have any loose or mismatch stitching on any of the seams. I like that this dress can be washed on gentle cycle of my washing machine; I haven't done that yet, but I like that it is an option. I think this is a great quality and versatile dress for the price.

I feel so beautiful & elegant in this dress. This is the second dress from Simplee that I have bought, and I get so many compliments whenever I wear these dresses. They are cut & tailored to fit the figure nicely. The dress has an under layer or lining for modesty. The outer layer is a thin, silky, flowy material that feels lovely & swishes nicely when I move. The sleeves are lightweight and add a very feminine look to the dress. The dress washes very well, and holds its color. I wash in cold water, gentle cycle. I then hang the dress to dry. Using this method, there has been no shrinking, and the colors have remained true and have not faded. Simple dresses cost a bit more than other comparable dresses on Amazon, and yet the quality & style are also a cut above most other clothing brands, so I find the price to be very fair. The dress is suitable for more formal wear, which can also account for the higher price, but I wear my dresses to work and have been very happy with them!

I have a hard time finding floral maxi dresses that look polished rather than costumey, and this one consistently threads that needle. The floral print is rich and well-scaled — not overwhelming, not timid — and the color holds true to what I saw in the listing photos, which is not always the case with printed dresses. It photographs beautifully and looks just as good in person. The smocked bodice is the feature that makes this dress work for a wide range of body types. It stretches and adjusts to fit without pulling or gaping, and the elastic waistband sits at the empire line, defining the shape without cinching. The A-line silhouette from there flows cleanly all the way down, which is flattering and comfortable in equal measure. The V-neck is the right depth — feminine without being too low — and the ruffled trim at the neckline adds a detail that elevates the whole look. The fabric is lightweight and breathable enough for warm weather, yet has enough body to move gracefully rather than cling or go sheer. It handles movement well — walking, dancing, sitting through a long event — and it came out of the shipping bag with minimal wrinkling. The side pockets are a genuine inclusion, not decorative afterthoughts, and they are large enough actually to use. Sizing runs true to the chart, which I confirmed before ordering, and the fit landed exactly where I expected. This dress works for a wedding, a garden party, a beach vacation, or a nice dinner out. Versatile, well-made, and consistently well-received every time I've worn it.

Simplee is among our favorite dress brands and this one is also very lovely. The overall dress is a lightweight, airy feel that hangs well and is very modest. The sleeves are sheer, but with two layers, they really aren't overly so. The v-neck is flattering and not too low and the waist is higher, meaning you won't see muffin tops or a little belly fat. This one comes up a little in a v-shape, instead of flat, so it can pull up a little like a maternity dress to me, which is probably my least favorite part, but mostly it is flattering. I love the navy color and the simple floral print. It is easy to wash in the machine on delicate/cold and I just hung it to dry. It came out as good as new. Simple care, easy wear, and modest for a variety of occasions. Would definitely order again if needed. My only gripe with this dress is that because of the lining, it doesn't have pockets. I've noticed that trend with some of the double-layer dresses we've gotten from Simplee. They are modest and stylish and comfortable and wonderful, but if they are dual-layered, they don't do the extra work to add pockets. Darn. I ordered and medium and am 5'7" tall and 150 lbs and it fits just as expected. I am a pretty solid medium, so I'd say it's true to size.

I love this dress. It is a super nice quality. The material is super lightweight and very breathable. This would be excellent for a summer event where you will be in the heat but still want to look elegant. The cut and fit is also very flattering and forgiving. I took a chance on ordering a size large, when typically I order XL. I honestly could’ve gone either way. The large is a little bit more fitted, but not at all uncomfortable and is very flattering in that it accentuates my waist. The bottom of the dress is also floaty and the lining is not clingy or tight. It offers a lot of good stretch. 10 out of 10 definitely purchase this one if you are in the market for a nice floaty lightweight summer dress!
