If this dress had pockets, it would be perfect. This material looks like it would be stiff and scratchy, but it is SOOOO soft and comfy. The cut is super flattering. The bust is extremely stretchy so it isn't restricting. The color is beautiful. It is modest without looking matronly or frumpy. I bought this to wear as a guest to a wedding where the only person I knew was the groom. I got several compliments on this dress from strangers, including the bride when I went to introduce myself. I am 5'3" and 149lbs. I ordered both a medium and a large, and I easily could have worn either size. The large was *slightly* more flattering in the chest/back/belly area, but I ended up keeping the medium because the shoulders on the large felt like they would slip around and I didnt want to be messing with them all night, and the medium definitely didnt look or feel bad. I ate, drank, danced, and went up and down several stairs all night, and I was comfortable the entire time. It is soft and stretchy enough that is easy to put on and off without any squirming, struggling, contorting, snaps, hooks or zippers. You can easily wear a regular bra with this, you dont need anything strapless or special other than you will probably want a nude or clear strap since the sleeves are sheer. This is pretty, but the shoulders didn't stay off. I think this is meant to be worn off the shoulder, which is not what I wanted, nor what I thought I was buying. I made it work, but now it hangs in my closet. I will try to adjust the shoulders or simply donate it. Disappointing.
