Great for new newborns, limited use window

These were great for my newborn when he came home at 6 pounds, but by the time he was 8 pounds, and they all went through the wash and shrunk, they became too small for practical swaddling. Especially when he learned he could kick!. Now he's 11 pounds and they function more as a car seat blanket. Very soft. Keeps its shape but shrinks in the wash a bit.

Flannel receiving blankets

These are what you expect - thin flannel receiving blankets - great for swaddling or wrapping loosely. They wash and dry nicely - Flannel does tend to pill over time, but by that time, baby is usually past that swaddle point. I loved the pretty pink prints and Mom did too. You get 7 in the pack. Having said all of this, I never hesitate to update my reviews should new info seem useful. All of my reviews reflect my honest, personal experience with the reviewed item - your experience may be different. I am not influenced by any outside source. I receive/accept NO free products or discounts that are not available to all shoppers- ever. Received so many blankets and swaddles during our baby shower, these are by far the best. They are so good I ordered a second batch. They are big enough to swaddle but still light enough to not be bulky. 100% cotton so they keep baby warm but not too warm.

These blankets are soft, lightweight, and perfect for everyday use with a baby. I love the variety of neutral prints—they wash up nicely without shrinking or fading, and they’ve held up through many washes. They’re not super thick, so I wouldn’t use them as a heavy winter blanket, but they’re great for layering, swaddling, or tossing in the diaper bag for on-the-go. A good, practical buy at a fair price!
