Compared this to the Chemical Guys version which I have used, but recently price went up. In my opinion and I’m sure all will agree for the money and same quality, the Simple Houseware is the best for the money, if you have a business you would understand. The house wear is little shorter, little thinner, but is wider which makes it easier when used for rubbing, cleaning, applying polish, or waxes, because it keeps its shape. The chemical guys I found, being thicker and narrower it bends, or looses shape if that makes any sense. Hopefully this helps everyone out comparing the two, and want to save half the cost going with the houseware which has the same 70/30 microfiber for half the cost. ... show more

Pictures tell the story...... Look at picture #1 is what they show the product should look like. Look at picture #2 is what I received. Not impressed with this prodcut at all...... It's all smashed together and does not take shape even when pulling them out of the bag and letting them sit. I've let it sit for days and also got it wet to see if it takes shape.....it does not. I use these to detail my ford truck. These are excellent sponges to apply was or a paint sealant and very easy to clean up. I just throw them in the washer and they come out great again!. Love these sponges and recommend them highly!

I've used some really cheap applicator blocks before and was disappointed, but they were cheap and they still worked so I didn't mind too much. Now that I've used these, I don't see myself ever going back. These are inexpensive too, but the quality is there. They have a firm foam in them thats really nice. Its not rigid, but its got enough firmness that it doesn't mush up in your hand, but can still comply to whatever surface. Good applicators. Will buy again! ... show more

These are the exact same applicator pads that Chemical guys sell for double the price. I swear some of there stuff is great but some is just straight scam. Such as there microfiber towels and applicator pads. I recommend these

You get what you pay for, these are pretty much 1 time use items IMO. Took almost a week after opening for them to fully fluff up after being shipped in a vacuum packaging bag. Semi soft at best.
