To be clear, the accuracy of FIT tests is not on par with a colonoscopy or even a faecal DNA test, but it remains a great tool when those options are, for whatever reason, off the table. The kit arrives with everything needed to do the at-home collection, and it provides clear instructions every step of the way. The process is incredibly simple and straightforward. Once you have registered and sent in the sample, you just have to wait for them to receive it and do the labwork. In my case, it took 5 days from the time I sent it in for it to be received and less than 24 hours after that to have results. I received notifications both via SMS and email, and I was able to take a screencap and forward the results to my PCP so the practice could add it to my chart. Mine was negative, so that was the end of things for me; my understanding is that there would be resources and online consulting offered by the company should one's sample be heme-positive. I am a huge proponent of taking as much control over one's health as is possible, and I feel that kits such as this one are a great step in that direction. Knowledge is power for all of us, and tests such as these are especially welcome for those who are unable to easily access medical services for whatever reason. They also provide a touch of peace of mind for the rest of us, which is also welcome. Highly recommended!

If you've ever had a colonoscopy you know you don't want to do that again. However, as we age, it is recommended that we get checked every few years. I was excited to try this home kit. It comes with everything you need to collect your sample and even includes a postage paid, preaddressed padded envelope. When you open the kit, it has very easy to follow instructions. First label the collection tube with your name and date of birth and the date you are collecting the sample. In case you were wondering, you will still use the toilet for the procedure and don't risk touching anything icky. It comes with a flushable paper that catches the product and the collection tube has a stick that you use to "collect". I followed the instructions and put my sample in the mail the same day as instructed. I received a notice as soon as it was delivered at the facility and that night had my results.

Needed to set up an account with Simple Healthkit to register the test and receive results, which was simple to do. The directions for administering the test were clear and easy to understand and follow. After dropping in the mail, it took USPS around a week to finally get it to the lab, but once received the results were available by the next evening, and thankfully, everything was OK in our case. If the results were different, the directions indicate they would have followed up with some suggested course of action. Not as good as a colonoscopy test, since this isn't as comprehensive, but it remains a good option if cost or other issues are a concern. Recommended!

This colon cancer screening kit was easy to use and the results were available very quickly. The kit has to be registered, which includes going to their website, but it is easy to navigate. The only thing I would change would be the paper used to collect the sample. It doesn’t seem as sturdy as I would hope. Overall, it was fine and collection was fairly simple. After the lab received the sample, it took about a day to receive the results. I was notified via text and email and back logged into the website with ease.

Simple Healthkit is selling a bunch of test kits here on Amazon from STD's to drugs, to colon cancer and this is a really good thing as these tests need to be more accessible. This test isnt something that should be used in lieu of an actual colonoscopy, but it is a great starting point. Especially for folks that maybe have a history but are too young for insurance to cover the cost. Colon Cancer is an uncessary killer. If caught early, survivability is extremely high. Men, make this a priority if you have not! This test isa fair price and provides fast results. Recommend!!

With colon cancer on the rise I’ve been extremely paranoid about having it and not knowing since insurance won’t cover a colonoscopy … obviously this is not going to be as good as a colonoscopy but it can detect blood in the stool that may not be obvious with the naked eye which if it comes back positive is proof for a needed colonoscopy. Anyways, the retest is simple and straight forward. Results are said to be back within 24 hours. Would totally recommend this for someone who is too young to get a colonoscopy but would like a little peace of mind

Kit come with all essential stuff which need for screening . need to register online and make an account then use the kit as instructions provide with it also come with the shipping label .At-home Colon Cancer Screening Test allows to collect a stool sample then send the sample to the lab and check the results online .
