I purchased 2 pairs of these water shoes (220 white, women's size 7.5 for me and 209 grey, men's size 11 for my husband) for a snorkeling and kayaking trip in Thailand that's been postponed due to Covid. But we were able to try them out on a recent trip to the SC coast and they worked GREAT! We wore them to play/swim in the ocean (I hate going barefoot when the water isn't clear!) and for kayaking. They were so comfortable and held up really well to walking all over the beach, paths, and dunes on the island, and swimming and kayaking. I usually wear a size 8-8.5 M, although my feet do tend towards narrow. I was worried because there wasn't a size 8 option, but the 7.5 fit perfectly - even a little roomy! I had to tighten them a little bit to feel really secure on my feet, but was still able to slide them on and off easily, even in the surf. My husband usually wears a 10-11M, and his 11s were perfect - he didn't even have to adjust them. The insoles aren't attached but neither of us had any problems with them bunching up or anything. The only time we noticed the insoles was occasionally when removing the shoes they would move, but never came out and we never noticed them while wearing. The elastic cords/shoelaces are a little long, especially since I had to tighten mine a bit, but we both just looped them around the laces and they stayed in place. I wasn't sure if they would feel heavy in the water, but I barely noticed them. They drain so quickly and so well and are such a soft/stretchy material on top and lightweight rubber material on the bottom that I didn't even notice I was wearing them - not when walking in the water or when swimming. They seem to be really good quality and have held up so far to our abuse, and I expect them to hold up well to our future snorkeling, kayaking, and beach trips too.

Bought these for trekking the Narrows at Zion and they performed as well as could be expected. I had no issues and walked about 3/4 of a mile in and then back. The shoes were comfortable and I had no issues with them. I wear a size 8 shoe and ordered an 8 and a 9. The 9 was too big. The 8 was a comfortable snug fit. The traction was good. I slipped on a few slippery rocks but felt the traction on most rocks while climbing. The cushioning is thin where you can feel the contours of the rocks but provided plenty of protection from the rocks hurting your feet. These look pretty nice as well. My wife and son wore Northside water shoes from Big 5 and they both tore holes through the big toe area. She wants to get a pair the next time we go. These were definitely a good purchase.

These shoes are awesome. Very comfortable. They dry fast. Look cool and have good arch support. I am surprised they are as cheap as they are. I have bought pricey designer ones in the past and they didn't last, nor were they as comfortable as these.

The soles are durable and thick, with plenty of grip. Rocks, sticks, and other debris have not caused any issues for me and the bottom of my foot in these. The fabric top is very loose and fits to your foot very well, but it's thinness won't protect your foot much if you kick a rock or log with the top of your foot. Very lightweight and does not impede me when I swim. If you have a wide foot, consider a size larger as the sole is completely flat and your foot can bulge over the edges. Otherwise, a great purchase that makes me feel secure when going in rivers.

I bought these water shoes for my Jamaica trip. I knew we would be doing a lot of water activities and climbing the waterfalls. I decided to wear them as regular shoes, because I didn't want to carry around extra items if I didn't have to. I was very impressed. They were lightweight, comfortable, had a good grip climbing the falls and fit to size. I would buy again.

I heard that some water shoes are not comfortable or durable. These were not only comfortable, but durable too. Hiking over rocks and streams. It was a good buy.
