None of the cutlery we received as part of this flatware set were bent or broken, however it needs to be said that there are some rough edges on a couple spoons and 2 forks out of the set that could have been caught had it been buffed out properly from manufacturing. I was expecting a very basic set and was quite surprised that when I opened the packaging each of the individual items were bagged and categorized neatly together with rubber bands. After opening to inspect them I immediately noticed they were quite hefty. That was quite a surprise. Apart from the abnormalities on a few of the pieces, I am quite happy with the set. they added a set for another 4 guests to our collection. They fit in nicely to ensure we don't have quite as brief of a need to wash dishes, and equally we now have enough spoons when we decide to do a "Chinese take-out Night".

while you shouldn't purchase if you are looking for a super high end set, this set checks all the boxes for anyone looking for some everyday silverware for the family. it comes with 4 big forks 4 small forks, 4 big and 4 small spoons and 4 "dinner" knives, though I would refer to those as butter knives... a dinner knife in my opinion can cut steak or chicken or some other type of meat, and though I did t test to see if these could... I'd most for actual steak k Ives for that (just for ease of use). while each piece has a nice weight to it and tue shape is simple and easy to hold, as a whole is they were slightly heavier it would make them feel a bit more... idk... expensive I guess... all in all though I think these are a great set of dinnerware, flatware, utensils... whatever you want to call them :) they're priced appropriately, wash well through the dishwasher, seem well made (so i think they'll hold up pretty well), and I'd say they're well worth every penny. I'd totally recommend them.

I must admit, I anticipated the silverware set to be extremely poor in quality. For some reason I read "5" in the title of the product and immediately thought it was roughly $10 for five of each utensil, not realizing it was for five utensils in total. I thought it would be a good set for camping or just as a back up to have on hand for functions and celebrations. I'm sure anyone that's reading this review already knows that it is only five utensils, and I can confidently say these five utensils are well-made. Comparing 20 utensil sets with 20 of these utensils, at a comparable price, I'd say these are superior. They are not only superior in weight, ergonomics and finish, but they also appear to lie flat and can be stacked easily. I don't know about anyone else, but being able to stack silverware is something I prioritize, and with the flat handle and substantial weight of each individual utensil, they appear easily stackable. I like the rounded edges of the utensils which reduce accidental cuts, as well as the damaging effect of drops. That rounded design is also quite attractive. The polished finish is a subtle touch, and personally I think they pair with a wider range of table settings, visuallly speaking. The larger fork and spoon are just that, large. I do feel somewhat like a Viking commanding them, but it doesn't detract from maneuverability. Personally, this utensil set checks off all of the boxes that I consider when searching for utensils, now I'll just have to get more of them ;-).
