I had a set of shower curtain hooks that matched the motif of the bathroom with plastic molded painted sea shells, star fish, sea horses, and the like which looked really cute but unfortunately the hooks themselves started to rust which I wouldn't have minded so much about except it started damaging my curtain rod. I knew I needed to replace them, and saw these hooks appear and thought they'd go nice in my bathoom. I placed an order and they arrived quickly. The packaging is nothing to speak of, but the shower curtain hooks are very nice. They're metal and have a nice solid feel unlike my prior hooks. More importantly, since these hooks do have some weight to them, they fixed the issue I had with my light-weight hooks where moving the shower curtain would actually push a hook up and over a neighboring hook and then they'd get tangled with each other, a common annoyance I just got used to. Even better is the difference in how the room looks, it's a small change, but adds a nice modern touch.

Yes, they are nice and sturdy. Far better than your normal shower curtain hooks. They're great on a 3/4in pipe. But, I needed them for a 10ft long 1-1/4in pipe.
