I am very disappointed in these jeans. I WANT to like them. Initially, I did like them! The fit was good. The look was great. I even ordered 3 pair, because I liked them so much. Here's the problem...there is some sort of defect in the material that caused the jeans to split right in the middle of the rear, by the left pocket. Imagine my embarrassment and mortification to discover in the middle of teaching a class of HIGH SCHOOLERS (with my back to them as I was writing on the board no less) that my jeans had split and my panties were very clearly showing. AND for those of you who are reading the reviews and wondering, "Is this just a fluke?" or, "clearly she isn't wearing the correct size," I can assure you that my picture closely matches several of the other posts on here. I just wish I had paid more attention before purchasing the jeans. The jeans fit quite nicely until the rip was discovered....no muffin top or too tightly stretched region. No audible rip to indicate that I was about to experience such an embarrassing moment. Probably the most frustrating part of this, aside from the strong likelihood that this moment will go down in history in the "most hilarious memories" part of the school yearbook for my students, is that I have no way to report or return these jeans since the time period has passed. I received these jeans on MARCH 10th. It is MAY 15th. That is a LOT of money to spend on jeans that will not last for even 2 months, and frankly, I would have spent even more to avoid the embarrassment. Very disappointed. Updated to add: Amazon replaced the jeans for me; however, not even 2 weeks later, the replacement jeans ripped in almost the same place, but on the right pocket. So after my second pair ripped, I felt compelled to write a review. I love these jeans. The first pair anyway. They were heavy structured denim, not too elastic (I’d prefer 100% cotton, but that’s harder to come by these days). Fit perfectly, no muffin top and just the right length after washing. I’m not a skinny girl anymore, but by no means large, and I never wear tight fitting clothes. Yet somehow I busted my butt out of the first pair. I can’t complain too much, because we were at a trampoline park. My bad, but then get another pair at $80+. Second pair is not the same quality. A little darker, and a lot more stretch. Still heavier denim. Still fit ok, and I probably wore them close to a dozen times, but then . . . The rips came back. I felt them pop when I bent over. Not doing anything of particular significance, just picking up shoes from the floor. I know the positive reviews about fit make it tempting, but take it from me, after $175 I have nothing to show for it! Don’t buy it! ... show more

I'm 5ft4in tall and 175-180 lbs. A young 41 year old. I am an hourglass figure with a bit of a belly pouch from a c-section. I got the 31x30 and can wear ballet flats, tennis shoes and low heeled ankle boots with these. What I really like about these pants is that the color and cut makes them look modern, while the rise is mid-to-high. I don't have to constantly hike them up or wear a belt with them to keep them feeling like they are where they should be. The bootcut is moderate, so I don't feel like my legs look thick! Super cute pants! I just wished they fit! Runs wayyy small and is definetly NOT mid-rise. Had to send back and ask for a refund. I learned my lesson trying to buy clothes online. **UPDATE** I paid $104 total, for these pants and a $16 shirt ($88.99 for pants). Out of the $104 I spent on this order, I'm only receiving $77.59 back! It was supposed to be "Free returns", I returned within 2 weeks of purchasing, and items were in original package with all tags still intact. I'm trying to figure out how to get ahold of seller or Amazon About this issue, but unfortunately amazon has made it difficult to find any of that information now. It used to be alot easier to find seller info/contact seller. I will NEVER buy clothes off of here again!! Especially when the 3rd party seller literally kept almost $30 out of my order for themselves! NOT HAPPY! ... show more

Are the Silver Jeans sold on Amazon seconds? I Love Silver Jeans and have worn them for years. I have never had an issue with quality until I ordered 2 pairs from Amazon. I ordered the same size and styles that I usually wear. One pair of my new jeans "split" open in the front not too long after I received them. It was not really a rip but more like a run in a nylon. I called Amazon support and they replaced the jeans with no issue BUT I am sorry to say the replacement jeans did the same thing today. Why? Silvers are usually such good quality. I have the hardest time finding jeans that fit. I'm fairly tall (5'8"), skinny, long legs, and have a rump that makes it hard to find jeans that fit. They either fit said rump great but then are huge in the waist. Or, they fit the waist but are too small for my butt. And/or they are just too short in general. I must say these jeans fit me perfectly! The length is such that I can wash and dry them without the worry of them becoming too short. ... show more

These are my favorite jeans I have ever purchased. At the moment I am 5'4" and 164 lbs. I bought a pair of 32x30 first. I have a tip...if you have to do an elaborate hulu dance to get the jeans on, that's probably the pair you ought to keep if you can still button them alongside the hulu dance. I lost about 7 lbs and I had to buy a size down. These jeans do have a lot of stretch. My 32s are nor only tight if I dry them (which I normally don't dry jeans). My 31s are snug when I first put them on (remember that hulu dance) but within a half hour they fit pretty perfectly. I will continue to buy these for the foreseeable future unless the fit or style changes. I love them! I have a lot more confidence in my looks and feel cute wearing them.
