I have lost a lot of weight this year and I went from a 5X to a 2-3X. (I am tall: 5’10”.) I wasn’t sure what size to order but after reading reviews they said these run small. It’s true. I almost decided to order the 3x/4x, but then went with the 5X. I’m glad I did. They fit very close to perfect, so the 2x I almost ordered would never have fit ( I’m a size 22 if that helps). They were slightly on the larger side of perfect, but that’s better than too small. When they arrived I thought only a kid could fit in them but they have a lot of stretch. These were exactly what I expected -- black tights. Nothing special, nothing unusually amazing, but also not cheaply made. They were nice and sturdy -- no runs or snags throughout an entire day, part of which I ended up "bare"-foot, because my shoes were killing my feet. Unfortunately they were slightly smaller/shorter than I was expecting. They were quite tight around my waist and to get them to go all the way up, I had to pull them tight against my toes (to the point where it was almost painful). I'm not unusually tall -- I'm only 5' 8" -- so that was a little disconcerting. Overall, it was a fine purchase, I only wish I had ordered a size up. I was a bit skeptical purchasing these, as I've been on the hunt for a nice pair of tights for the past few months with nothing. I thought maybe I was being picky and not adjusting to them, as I used to wear tights daily and stopped about a year ago when I gained weight, but these tights are a GAME CHANGER. I saw thw reviews and sized up two sizes, which I'm very glad I did because they fit anazingly. There's no itch when you put them on, no squeezing waistband, no sagging in the crotch, and they fit my butt perfectly! I love how the tag is sewn in so I can see which direction to put them on in, and I love how the extra material disperses itself out naturally instead of bunching up and squeezing where my hip meets my thighs. I bought these to wear under jeans in the winter for warmth and I was not disappointed. They fit well, are very stretchy and seem to be immune to snagging or running. They are regular tights, not flannel lined but they still add a layer of warmth. They are thick enough to enable me to wear them with a skirt and boots when it’s cold out. ... show more

    • Okay so far, fit a bit snug, feel a bit coarse.
Size: 5-6 Plus Color: 1 Pr Black + 1 Pr White
I wear tights all the time, it's just my style, so maybe I'm a bit picky but these are just kind of.. okay? First of all, the fitting chart isn't outright wrong, but I think it's skewing a bit on the small side. I ordered a 5/6 based on the other reviews here stating this issue with the sizing - based on their chart I would be a 3/4. I think next time I might order a 7/8 if I get these again. The thing you need to know is: they fit, for sure. They aren't terribly difficult to pull on or anything, and they aren't uncomfortably tight in the slightest, but to get the opaque look like the photo they need to be the proper size. Overall, I really actually adore the fit and form of these, the waist band is among the most comfortable and resistant to rolling/digging I have ever found. The stretch and contour of these is superb. They pull up to just above my belly button and stay in place all over fairly well. I do not find myself adjusting/pulling/reorienting these at all throughout the day, they don't get baggy and they don't shift around. There is a double seam in the back, which is good and generally the hallmark of a quality pair of tights meant to be worn multiple times. The double seam divides the stress of being seated so that they don't tear along the seam. I was surprised by this detail, honestly, as it's mostly a feature of much more expensive tights. The fabric itself is fairly coarse/rough to the touch, it's a very sort of synthetic, plastic-y feeling. The leg-on-leg rub is equally as rough between the thighs and overall I personally rate these pretty low on the comfort scale in that regard. They may turn out better after a couple washes, that's my hope. For a few hours of wear or Speaking of: wash these before wearing them, please. They reek of chemicals out of the package and when I tried them on straight away I noticed some skin irritation, probably from whatever factory process they use to finish them. The look is around a 60-70 denier at the size I chose. A decent amount of my skin tone shows through these, especially at the joints/thighs. They would hide leg hair of just about any length, but I believe would struggle to cover a tattoo. Overall as someone who wears tights basically all the time, unless the fabric feel of these improves after a few wears, I probably wouldn't buy these again. However, if all you need is a single night or workday out of these every once in a while, they're probably decent. ... show more

As a plus size woman who also has thick thighs, hips, and a big butt, it’s extremely hard to find tights that fit, are comfortable, and pull all the way up! This was a very pleasant surprise!
