I recently had gastric sleeve surgery and I was worried about getting loose skin on my belly, arms and inner thighs because people in my support groups all mentioned that. I instantly started researching skin firming creams/lotions/gels and came across Belly Firming by Silkdermis. After comparing it to other brands I decided to try it. I’m so glad I did! It smells amazing, it feels like lotion and its not sticky or greasy which is important because I use it in the morning before getting ready for work and can get dressed right after putting it on. And a little goes a long way! One of the best things I love about Belly Firming cream is that I can feel it working. When they say feel the burn they mean it. But not in a bad way like OMG it hurts. It doesn’t. But you can feel the warmth when it kicks in. I’ve been using it now for about a week and I do see a difference. Not a huge difference but I feel like that’s my fault. The directions do say to use it twice a day, however, I have not been very good about applying it at night before bed but I did just start that last night. I feel like if my problem areas look this good once a day I can’t wait to see what they will look like using it twice a day as instructed. I love it and highly recommend you try it!

This is an honest review. I had good thoughts about this cream but low expectations. 1st time trying I used it on my belly and underarms. I definitely felt the burn by my armpits but didn't on my belly. Then I'd say about an hour later I felt it but wasn't as strong of a feeling as the arms. I believe it's due to how thick and thin your skin is in certain areas. It's been about 10 days and only have noticed a small difference as of yesterday. I did as recommended but didn't stand around for 3 mins rubbing it in. I made sure to rub enough to let it soak in then went on with my day. I like the smell cause I like roses & their smell. So if you don't care for that, I wouldn't buy it or just deal with it till the smell goes away. PLEASE wash your hands after use of this and wash them VERY well. I'd wash at least for 30secs cause if not you'll regret it. Not thinking much, I washed my hands after but not long enough. Wiped hair off my face and felt the burn 🔥 😆. I did not take any before pics to compare cause I'm really self conscious about my belly after 3 kids. No amount of exercises has help, im full throttle with everything i do, i worked my belly out and no results even after a year of dedication! Surgery would be my only option and who has 10k or more just sitting around for that and with kids...no way would i dare spend that much on myself before my kids. So that is why there are no pics cause i just hate my belly that much, i didn't want to any pics of it either. I'm not here to oversell this product. It's definitely not a magic cream. I do believe if it does anything, it makes your belly sweat water weight off. With that being said it actually helps the appearance. The lotion has made my belly feel better in the way of a bit more tighten as they say it should. Will I buy again, yes I'll buy one more time cause I'd like to see this process out as they recommended (a few months for results). Then I'd have more to say. I was asked to give my opinion about this. I tell it as it is regardless of incentives. So far it's going alright. Time will tell if I want to invest anymore into this product after a few months.

There are just some certain things a cream can do to the skin realistically. Which this one is great. Consistency is key. Every day at least once a day. I’m on my 5th bottle and probably will keep buying unless I find something better but this one works and for the price it is a good good deal.

This stuff left me with a horrible skin burn/rash on my abdomen and in particular the areas in and around my bellybutton & fupa (lol)-all around my cesarean scar. The fist time I used it after a shower and while in a hurry, and it wasn't nearly as bad as the 2nd time using it, yet still stung. I used my wet towel to wipe off what I could. I tried it for the 2nd time and it burned so bad->instantly & immediately turned my skin red & my skin was noticably inflamed. The burning/stinging from this product can oy be described as what a chemical burn feels like on your skin. It felt like my skin was burning off. It happened so instantaneously when applying it, and hurt so bad to the point of tears and profanity. I ran to get a cold, drenched washcloth and continued trying to get it off of my skin, switching to a new washcloth 3x. I had to keep a wet, cold towel on my abdomen constantly for the next hour, otherwise my skin felt like it was literally burning off again and could visibly could see my skin getting more inflamed and red right when the cloth was removed to get a new one wet and cold. This left me with a horrible rash on my abdomen which is finally nearly healed 2 weeks after applying this 2nd application. I purchased this because it had mostly great ratings and reviews. I regret this purchase fully!!! If anyone wants my bottle, it's basically still full, just use with caution. Ive debated just throwing it in the trash, but maybe someone who has used this before could utilize the bottle of cream. If so, take it please. I don't want this and it's just collecting dust on my shelf now at this point. 100/10, I DON'T recommend this product to anyone looking for what this product is marketed for.

I'm always hesitant on products like this, but I liked the ingredients and prior reviews, so I thought I'd give it a try. It definitely feels good on the skin...very moisturizing, and the warmth with ever so slightly tingling sensation that it is targeting some areas is just that... targeting some areas, which is exactly what I was going it would go. The warmth let's you know your body is responding. It's not uncomfortable at all and feels a bit like you were given a light body massage. I do feel the skin tightened in those areas as well with a slight change in appearance. I'm thinking with more use this will become more apparent and noticeable based on what results I've seen this far. Excited to see what's ahead.

I absolutely love this product. I use it on my stomach, post 3 kids, so I have a lot of loose fat and stretch marks. I have used firming lotions in the past, but when I started using this one, I actually noticed a difference in my skin and the tightness of it. This product is so moisturizing and feels so good, and if you keep up with it everyday, it will leave you satisfied and it even lightens the look of my stretch marks too! I am very satisfied with this product and probably will be subscribing to it. It’s also got a very pretty scent to it too!
