silky fabric inside decorative outside basically just a solid colored snood with an adjustable elastic band. These things are always great when they're new but as the elastic wears out they get less useable. These have a push button adjuster that should help keep it snug as the elastic wears out. If you're handy and have the right tool you should be able to replace the elastic when it finally wears out. For the price not bad. I got these Sleep Bonnets to keep my head warm while I sleep. I have baby fine, long, thin hair that is also slippery. ***After wearing several nights I've discovered these just don't stay on my head because my hair is too slippery *** I'm very sad as I really liked them. I ordered the Blue and Pink color combination and my 1 disappointment so far is that the Pink is really more a Peach color which is not the best color for my complexion, but I'll be asleep so who cares? Would get a different color choice next time. The product does not have fiber content on it but has an enclosure stating it is silk and washing instructions for Silk (gentle soap, hand wash, line dry--not in dryer). It is *very* soft with a knit fabric on the outside and woven satin-weave nude color lining. It feels like silk. It did slip off my head as I slept but I think that's because I hadn't tightened it up enough and I have slippery hair. Was easy to put back on. Will adjust it differently next time I wear it. My head was kept nice and warm just as I wanted. I'm glad you get 2 pieces so you can wash 1 and have the other one to wear as the 1st one dries. There is a "knob" where you can adjust the tightness that needs to be positioned at a place where you won't be laying on it. Just purchase , you will be glad you did. Adjustable, silk lined and cute. I have very long dreads and can place all my hair in the large with no problems. I can now get a good nights sleep. The sleep cap is adjustable and did I mention cute. I don’t wear outside but you can!!

I purchased 4 of these for myself and family. We all have locs so I purchased them in hopes that they would be good for securing our hair throughout the night. Honestly, they do keep mine and my husband hair secure overnight but their either too baggy or too tight based on how you adjust them. Also, the adjuster part can be a bit annoying as well unless you put it on your forehead and tuck the remaining elastic inside. If you can get past the elastic adjuster which is beneficial but aggravating as well, it’ll work for you. ... show more

The fabric is super soft, inside and out. The colors are lovely. They are a great value getting two for the price of one. But when I woke up this morning, after my first night wearing it, it wasn’t on anymore and I had bed hair. I put it back on and went back to sleep. It was on after that.
