When I cook I usually use multiple utensils and other kitchen tools, and an ordinary spoon rest or even two of them is just never enough. So I'm always setting down paper towels or pulling out plates to set my messy cooking utensils on and they take up way too much room on my countertop. This is a clever design, and the silicone is a good choice of material to make it with, it's strong, heat resistant, easy to clean, and doesn't wear out easily. If you keep your countertop clean and don't get any crud underneath it, it'll have good friction on the bottom and won't skid. This size is better for smaller utensils, which I use a lot. I'm probably going to get one in the larger size, too, which is better for larger cooking utensils.

I’m so sick and tired of having to put utensils that I’m cooking with on towels on top of napkins on top of a plate. It’s ridiculous. This thing holds it and it’s got a drip tray in it and it’s dishwasher safe and it’s big and it can hold up to four utensils. I can’t say enough about it. I wish I had this years ago. I absolutely recommend it.
