I purchased 2 pair Cape Town, and 2 of the Angel Island colors. I wanted jeans highly/mostly more cotton than stretch. Minimal meaning all cotton and single digits stretch/anything else. And a label at the belt with your make-name "in lights" as-if you plan to be in business next year still and make your jeans quality enough that you plan to still be building your client base. Any jeans (yah you know who you are...) that are sold with no label, are posers. Yah ya got me over the years. Just move on along poser jeans... I am so very happy, finally, to have found real Levi's, Real Signature labels on the back, that fit like real Levi's, and ***almost*** 100% cotton. They wear like expected. Fit like expected. They aren't so tight at the ankles my feet swell lol, I got short - perfect PERFECT length, and no change in length after washing and fully-drying! Waist falls just-right - my soft middle is not "highlighted" nor stuffed so tight I cannot breath. Only barely stretch - cannot tell they are only small amount stretch - and they are roughly the same shape/size when I put them on and later when I take them off. Comfy, fabric feels like 100% cotton jeans (but you know they are just barely stretch). Will fade very slowly like expected of *real jeans*. I will forever miss my 100% cotton Calvins. My love for a decades-long part of my life. But I am so happy for having (finally) found this seller (=this exact seller name only), selling exactly these jeans. These "the real thing" Levi's. Sometimes these reviews get somehow switched over onto different ads, or different items (of different quality) are shown that same review... This review is only for this Amazon seller name and colors Cape Town and Angel Island. Feel my glee as, once I physically had four pairs in hand here and post first-wash/fully dry and retry, I rolled up and donated forward X pairs of poser jeans. Until your closet is good with jeans, you ain't good at all. 5 flippin flashing sparkly stars for this seller selling these jeans. I can't say enough positive things about these jeans. First and mostly important for me is they must be comfortable. I didn't even wear jeans for years until they began modifying the fabric content which gave them stretch that allowed you to actually breathe while wearing them. Now that this is an option plus look good in them without the saggy butt, it's been a game changer. These jeans definitely offer this. I have a tummy that is from weight loss and surgery is not an option, so finding jeans that fit properly that don't emphasize this area can be a challenge while making the back side fit great AND not have a gap at the back waist. Being in my 60's, I still don't want to look like I'm wearing Mom jeans but skinny jeans are not my thing, although I do own a couple of pairs. These jeans have a nice straight leg, but not too big of a leg that are attractive to wear with sandals or boots. Living in TX, boots are a necessary footwear so come on Fall! The fabric is not too dense, a medium dark navy, and a softer denim than most so this provides a greater comfort to the perfect cut of the fit. I have a slew of size 8's and my weight has fluctuated between the 8's and 10's. Back to the gym so I can maintain but in the meantime, I am digging my size 10's in these and ordered another pair today.

This is a review of "Signature by Levi Strauss & Co. Gold Label Women's Modern Straight Jeans." I've always been a full-bottomed gal. And never have I found another pair of jeans that flatter like Levi's. Levi's cup and flatter my bum, rather than flatten it out and make me look even more hippy. The rise is perfect on my long torso (not the dreaded camel-toe like some!) and the fit hugs my curves in all the right places. BUT...!! This will give away my age, but Levi's used to be super affordable. Today? Not so much. I've looked in vain to find a less expensive brand that fits the same way, but nope. (Am I cheap? I prefer the word frugal. :) ) Enter their Signature line. Levi's Signature jeans is the Levi "value line" - about $20-$40 less than their other lines. It's that awesome Levi's fit at a $30-ish price point. But while the cut is the same, the material is different. Especially with this last order, I noticed that the denim is sub-par to their more expensive lines. The denim is rough, with a coarse weave. It doesn't feel very nice to the touch. I've only worn these a few times, so I'm hoping the denim smooths and softens with wear. Meanwhile, I'll enjoy these Signature jeans and enjoy the fit.

I love these jeans! When I tried them on they were almost too loose around the waist. I was going to send them back but I decided to wash and dry them. So out of the dryer they fit beautifully. Now if they don’t stretch allot they will be fine for my needs. They are so soft and well made and comfortable. The only thing is that these jeans are not mid waisted like advertised. At least for me, they come clear up to the top of my stomach which is not a deal breaker because they fit so well. Also the jeans are a little heavier than skinny jeans which will be great for winter. I would recommend these jeans. I gave the jeans a 5 star rating even with the waist being high because everything else about them is great!

I am only 5ft 1in tall, or almost 155cm for you other folks out there. I typically get "short" or "petite" pant lengths, but since I needed to wear boots, this length (32") was far better than the typical length (30") you get. Not to mention, they are soft! Not a jegging/legging soft, but jean soft. I'm not sure how exactly to describe that to you. They just work. I think I will get myself one more pair and I will be done replacing my pants for now. Oh, and come on, where I live, there's no way I'm getting jeans like these for this price.
