***** UPDATE 07/06/24 ***** I ended up ordering the Renaissance Rose color in thee pants, and while they are fine, the material is NOT the same composition as the lilac colored ones. The rose pants are stiff and when I washed them, they came out all wrinkly. The material is more of a silky texture versus a cotton one. Checking the labels, the rose ones are are 61% cotton and 37% polyester and 2% elastane. The lilac ones are 75% cotton, 23% polyester and 2% elastine. Other than the feel, they are the same as the lilac ones. They did soften up once I tossed the in the dryer to get rid of the wrinkles after air drying them. I did order these down a size, they are a little tighter in the legs and stomach areas, but still don't bind around the tops pf the thighs when I sit down in them. The color is very pretty. I wish they had more stock in the sizes that I (and most other women) wear in the plus sizes. This and the lilac colors are literally the ONLY color options available. I was surprised about that considering that it's Lee that makes these, not some Chinese factory that only carries a few colors in a few plus sizes. ***** ORIGINAL REVIEW ***** These pants are great! Awesome! Wonderful!! I ordered them with a little bit of trepidation because I am very particular about the fit of any clothing, but figured if worse came to worse, I could always return them. They arrived fairly quickly, and right out of the package fit me like a charm! I expected stiff material that I’d have to wash a couple of times before wearing, but they were soft and supple. There is plenty of stretch to the material, but it didn’t stretch out and get baggy on me. I actually could have ordered down a size and they still wouldn’t have been tight. There is a “tummy control” panel, but it didn’t do much for me because the pants are already loose. I am going to order down a size when I order the other colors. The front pockets are REAL pockets too! None of that sewn in fake looking pockets. They don’t bulge out or pucker, they actually lay flat. I have a belly and a butt, but the pants fit perfectly, usually, if the front fits, the butt doesn’t or vice versa. The legs are comfortable, they don’t bind and are tight without being constrictive. You can sit in them and not have your circulation cut off to your legs. The color says lilac, but it’s more of a soft pink. It is pretty. I have already washed them twice in warm and hot water, and there is absolutely no shrinkage. They air dry well and stayed soft, not all wrinkly like some denim pants do. I also tossed them in the dryer and they came out fine too. I would definitely recommend these to anyone looking for a comfortable pair of pants as an alternative to jeans. You could dress these up or down just by your choice of shirt, shoes and accessories. ... show more

Like a lot of others, I have a hard time finding jeans that actually fit me well, but these Levis look really nice on me. I carry most of my height in my torso instead of my legs, so finding jeans that fit my frame that aren't also awkwardly long for my legs is annoying, especially when shopping online. Update: So I washed them and hung them to dry and now they feel looser. I suppose this is the right size then. Still not too long although they are slouchy like 80s leg warmers (which I like.) These barely fit. It may be the inside panel but I feel exceedingly constricted. They look fine. I’m glad I did not get an 18 short because the pair I received definitely don’t need to be hemmed for my 5’4” frame. I vacillated between sizes for days and finally just had to order. I wasn’t looking for skinny jeans just something without so much leg material. I hate returning items so I’ll just wear them fitted. If I order another color, I will try a 20 short. Oh. My. God. Shut the front door and slap your grandma. Hold on tight because these jeans are gonna get you pregnant. I’m too hot, call the police AND the fireman. Songs immortalize fantastic behinds and if you’ve never felt like the subject of those songs then buy these jeans and buckle up! You’re about to feel like a honkytonk badonkadonk, baby got back, fat bottomed girls, and your anaconda is about to make girls go, “oh my gawd, Becky!” Now that the funny part of this review is over... shut up and buy these jeans. Buy ten pairs because Lord knows as soon as you find a pair of jeans you like you’ll never find them again. I am 4’11” tall, 173 lbs, 45” hips, 33” waist (definitely pear shaped), and I can never - I mean NEVER - find jeans that fit me. These are the right length. They fit my hips. They don’t gap at my waist. And this inner tummy slimming panel? Oh sweet baby cheezus YES. I have a two year old, an awesome mom pouch, and a healthy love of bread.
