Update: I've decided to exchange these jeans for size 2 with 30" inseam. After wearing these for a while, I notice that they really ride up in the length when I sit down, so I measured the inseam. It was actually 27" = so am hoping the 30" inseam will turn out to be 29" and more to my length preference. One thing - returning these jeans is a tad bit of a hassle because you have to take it to a UPS store, or be assessed a $6 pick up fee. I'll update this when I receive my longer-length pair. I'm thrilled with these jeans because they are a perfect fit for me - 5'2", 105 lbs, and have a 26" waist. I ordered size 2 with 28" length. They have just enough stretch because the black pair I purchased are 70% cotton, 23% polyester, and 2% elastane. The tummy panel is comfortable and all the pockets are functional and roomy. I had such high hopes for these skinny jeans to fit as pictured, but unfortunately I guess I’m a bit too thin to fill them out, thus leaving a baggy rear end and loose fabric around my upper legs down to my knee. Not a good look for stretch jeans. I am 5‘2“, 97 pounds and I guess this size 2-Short is meant for someone just a little plumper than I am. Will be returning. However, the positive of these jeans is the fabric is an excellent thickness and quality, the waistband is wide - it is a little below your navel which isn’t perfect for my taste - and they can certainly offer stretch support … if your figure fills them out. The “Short” size option for length fit me perfectly. (I usually have to shorten every pair of pants I buy.) These are a very good quality product that is worth the asking price, for the record. The reviews for these had me laughing! I'm petite yet curvy so it's always challenging finding pants that flatter AND fit. My mom bought some and told me I should give them a shot, so I did. And wow, they're amazing. I'm 5' tall and 120 lbs (athletic build) and I got size 2 in black and they fit just right. THEY STAY UP ALL DAY. I have two small kids so I'm always bending down and these don't stretch out of shape. I don't have to pull them up all day, or change my pants mid-day like I do with some others. They just stay up. They don't sag in the (what's a polite word for cr*tch?). They're not too tight on my calves. And they're CHEAP. I usually have to spend $$$ to buy premium denim that comes in petite so I was delighted to find pants that fit for this price. Now, they are thin. I wouldn't consider these to be as thick as a traditional denim pant. But they are what they are and what they are is a magical pant for a magical price that will make you feel magical. The fit of these jeans was clearly not designed for my body type. I am a petite 5'0", 102 pounds with a short waist and long legs. I am hourglass in shape. These did not fit me correctly. I ordered a 2 short. First off, they were too short! Again, I'm only 5'0" tall. The waist hit well below my natural waist- so the waist was tight- since it was actually around my abdomen/hip area. From hip to thigh they were too big. *I believe these pants would best fit a long-waisted pear shape women with shorter legs than torso. I like the concept of these but- not for me. I LOVE these pants and I want to get one pair in every color. Ladies, we know that we constantly get completely ripped off when it comes to pockets in pants. They are either too tiny to fit anything in, too shallow to hold anything without it falling out, or they are fake pockets that don't even hold anything! These pants. The first time I put my phone in my front pocket, I literally gasped, thinking that there was a hole in my pants or something because my phone fit ALL THE WAY into the front pockets. I still can't stop telling people/showing off the pockets whenever I wear these pants. Not only that, but they are soooo comfortable. I am a teacher, so I'm on my feet and moving around all day. These pants stay comfortable without ending up too baggy at the end of the day (or after a few wears). The waistband is so comfortable, I forget that they aren't regular button-up pants. And the length and quality are just...divine. If you're on the fence about these pants...BUY THEM. I had seen several adds for these jeans, as well as read lots of reviews and was hoping to love them. I gave them a few days, but ultimately decided to return. I feel like they gave me a muffin top I don’t really have and made me feel thicker rather than skinner. They just weren’t flattering. I am 5’ even and around 105 lbs. I’ve had 3 kids and my stomach is not completely flat (but not big either), so I like high waisted jeans that smooth me in a bit. I thought these looked perfect, but they weren’t. I debated between a 2S and 4S because I have jeans in both sizes that fit. I got the 2. I feel like they “fit” like they were supposed to and I don’t think a bigger size would have helped. I think it may have been worse, but I’m not gonna try it. They were pretty loose through the legs, not true skinny jeans on me at least. Really they were too loose everywhere except the band around the waist. It wasn’t uncomfortably tight and didn’t feel “too small” necessarily. They really felt pretty good on, but just were not flattering. They hit right at my belly button and smoothed everything below there, but made a bulge above the waist that was worse than with any of my other pants - exactly the opposite of what I was going for. Since they created the bulge and the legs and thighs were loose fitting, I feel like they just made me look bigger all over. ... show more

I love the fit of these pants. It is not easy to find both a small size and short length, perfect for my 5’1” body which fluctuates between 106 and 111 pounds. I have purchased these same pants twice because the black fades even though I wash them in cold and mostly hang dry them.
