I wasn’t taught how to use make-up, so I went almost 3.5 decades without wearing it. I hardly ever had acne as a teen, so it wasn’t a big deal. As an adult, I developed rosacea and it affected my confidence. I am learning how to reduce the redness and decided to take the plunge and invest in good brushes and foundations (I may expand my make-up set later). The brushes are great. Soft, the right size, and helps evenly distribute the foundation on my face. The handles tell you what it’s for like “large powder” and “foundation,” but the box has some more descriptions. I’ll keep the box for now as I continue to learn.

Best brushes, soft, no bristles falling out, even after years of use. Beats the heck out of MAC brushes for a fraction of the cost. I have lots of daughters (one is a cosmetologist) and this is the third set we've bought after trying many brands. Will stick with Sigma from now on.

The hair on the brushes is flimsy and stiff. They are the right size but quality is low. I have regular size brushes from Sigma and a small travel eye shadow brush that I got as a gift and those are comparable to MAC, but these are not. I’ll use them when I have to because I threw the packaging away and can’t return but wouldn’t buy again.

I bought this set mainly for the container that it comes in. I travel every weekend and it is perfect for packing brushed. I don't like the large size of the tube that comes with the original set but this one is perfect. The brushed are very nice especially the foundation and blender brushes. However I don't like the angled contour brush because it is a bit flimsy and smells horrible. It does not seem like a high quality brush compared to the others. All of the natural brushes smell when washing, though I suppose this is normal. Overall the set is worth the money for its convenience in travelling and its mostly high quality brushes.

I have always wanted to try sigma brushes, but THAT PRICE!!! Especially when you replace brushes every year or 2. My husband bought me this set for Christmas and I will never go back to morphe. These brushes really are worth all the hype. They really do apply makeup.... just better. I can't explain it.

I ordered this product for my daughter, at first I thought they were expensive for the set but when all considered they were not. The brushes came in their own caddy that fits into a larger size makeup bag. The picture does not do justice to the brushes, they look much nicer in person. The wooden part of the brush is black and silver glitter, well constructed, my daughter cleans the brushes with just warm soapy water and lets them air dry. They look brand new considering I bought these for a Christmas gift 2012.
