Best water bottle I've found!

Well, yes, it may seem silly to spend a chunk of change on a water bottle, BUT, I seriously could not find a decent water bottle, not a cheap one, nor even at the $20+ mark. This bottle is GREAT! Wide mouth lid means easy filling. Put the first screw cap on, which fits the wide mouth, and you have a narrow mouth, for guzzling or pouring. Put the second screw cap on, and now it is a sealed unit. Then comes the super cool sports top, built into the second screw cap -- it has a variety of options, to click and lock open for nice long pulls of water (which flow super smooth) or unlocked open, for just a single pull of water. Or, push down, turn, and the sport top locks closed for leak-proof seal again. Very clever and well made sport top, LOVE IT! Bottle itself is lightweight, has a good feel in the hand, and does not flavor the water, at all. I did the research on this one, and it beats all the others, for what I was looking for, in a versatile, easy to clean, rugged and robust design. Worth every penny! ... show more

Three ordered, all three defective.

After trying THREE separate ones I can confidently say: great idea, horrible execution. Save your money and buy something else. Details below. I REALLY wanted to like these. They’re sleek, feel great, amazing build, etc. Perfect water bottles….except for the fact that they don’t work. Since they’re metal, you can’t squeeze them. There is a small air gap to allow air in so water can flow. When first using them, they’re amazing. But after a couple of weeks of use, ALL of them get clogged and reduce flow to almost a complete stop, making the water bottle worthless. To be clear, I’m ONLY using plain water with nothing else in it. 3/3 failed on me so I’m convinced the design is flawed, or there’s a bad batch. ... show more

Inaccurate size description but otherwise still a good sigg bottle.

Great bottle, similar to the sigg I've had for 18 years. My complaint is that I selected and ordered the 1 liter bottle and instead received the .75 liter. It is a bit annoying but the shape of the bottle is great for gripping, it is nice and light but feels as durable as the old sigg bottles. The spout on the cap is very easy to drink out of and nice and fluid - no need to squeeze the bottle or move it in any particular way. The spout does close fairly easily and is a bit concerning - I hope it will hold up. Seems to be a great, long lasting bottle overall otherwise though. ... show more

A water bottle for the ages

I had tried my first SIGG bottle several years ago. I used it every day for roughly eight years, and it has the dents and scratches to show for it. Since it still "worked", I hesitated to replace it, however, I was tired of constantly screwing the top on and off, and wanted a wider mouth at the top so be able to put regular ice cubes in it, and to be able to clean it more easily. When I saw this bottle, it fit the bill. I love it. The texture of the outside is just right, and keeps it from slipping in your hand. The option to remove the entire top to have a full opening is helpful for cleaning or adding regular ice cubes. The smaller top opening is great for when you want to take a long drink, or take medicine. The sip-top is wonderful for when you are riding a bike, working out, or driving. It keeps my water cold, and I love the spare, basic design. It fits into the average car beverage holder and into a bike water cage, as well as the side of most backpacks. It may sound odd to gush about a water bottle, but I feel that good design can make the little things that you use every day a joy. I'm glad I bought this, and expect to use it for even longer than my first SIGG bottle. ... show more

Sturdy, well made, nice finish.. Two piece top allows two different sizes of opening plus a traditional sport cap for sipping. A counter clockwise turn of sport cap locks it to prevent spills.

They dent easily. No insulation.

Who didn't love Sigg water bottles back in the day? But today there's much better options. This aluminum bottle dents like crazy if you ever drop it. I'd bought this thinking it would be long lasting like it was the 00s. Within the week I dropped it and put a dent on the side so that it wouldn't stand up any longer. These are not insulated in any fashion. Your drink will be room temperature before you know it. I do love the cap. It's easy to take apart and to clean. ... show more
