The media could not be loaded. I needed to mount a security light on my garage and have used these in the past. I was able to buy them at my local Menards in the past but they no longer carry them so I turned to Amazon. The quality is exactly the same as the ones I've purchased from local store in the past, might even been the same brand. They install effortlessly and look great on vinyl siding. I will be purchasing more.

This product was clutch as I previously had an old piece of wood and metal electrical box. The description mentioned that this mounting block is thick and solid ABS plastic, and I agree that the quality is good. I feel comfortable it will hold up for a long time. I've had similar items in the past, and they've all be made from a matte finish, 'softer' plastic. This is very shiny and very hard plastic. I hop it holds up to our cold winters and hot summers!

I purchased these to add to the base of my new light fixtures. My electrician is a friend of my husband's. The blocks did not fit snugly to the aluminum siding on my house. They had to take the blocks back to my husband's workshop & grind them down to fit. I fear someone installing withoug the means to alter the blocks to fit will have a difficult time of it.
