Despite this item being listed as Prime, Fulfilled by Amazon, and In Stock, Amazon really didn't want to ship it out for some reason. After several weeks of waiting, talking to multiple customer service reps (that tried unsuccessfully to help because they don't have much power over the warehouse), and a "delay due to weather" (June in Utah.. hmm) it arrived safely! The desk was as pictured without any scratches, marks, chips, or dents. VERY easy to put together using the simple instructions and provided tool. Some reviewers claim their holes did not line up, but i'm not sure how that could happen unless they were trying to fit the pieces together instead of sliding them over top of the connector like a sleeve (I almost did this on accident at the beginning). The surface is lightly textured so no, I wouldn't recommend writing on it without a mat of some kind. Keep in mind that the metal frame makes the desk top a couple of inches lower than the surface, so chair arms and filing cabinets may not slide underneath. Overall this desk is simple, sleek, spacious, and sturdy. Worth the price compared to flimsy office supply store desks. If you can get it to actually ship! ... show more

Desk is easy to assemble, sturdy and good value for money. The three cable ports are extremely useful and managed to get a monitor arm mounted, even though the frame is right on the edges. The gaps between the two top layers (as the surface) are even and flat, but not to the extend where you will be able to move your mouse across seamlessly. No defects, bumps, scratches or anything on the desk I have received. I got this desk to set up in my home office for more space than the old little one and it is great, nice amount of space and the right height for me (I am 5'6" and mostly sit on a inflatable yoga ball for work--the desk is not height adjustable) it was easy to assemble. Only one complaint would be that the way that the holes are pre-drilled only allows you to set it up in one configuration (the one in the photo), rather than being able to set up the opposite way as well without pre-drilling your own additional holes (which could be done, I suppose given the right tooling and the right motivation, though this may be a little out of the wheelhouse for the average consumer) I ended up having to move a bookshelf a few inches because of this. ... show more

We got two of the L shaped desks. They are really sturdy and easy to put together. My husband put them together in like 45 minutes. However, they are not reversible as stated multiple times in the questions and reviews. We had originally planned to place the desks in a T formation, but since the tables are not the same length, and the desks are not reversible, we had to end up doing an F formation. I was surprised to say that this is by far the best piece of office furniture I've bought on Amazon! The frame is very solid, no wobble at all, and maintains the two tabletops very closely and evenly. The tabletops are quite thin but with a lovely finish, and since the metal frame goes all around the table top, it doesn't feel that thin. I bought this L shaped table because it was among the largest and, crucially, widest (almost 24, at 23-7/8 inches to be exact), but also because the frame looked like it was sturdy enough to be used with over table tops in the future (which it is; can't wait to upgrade the table top at some point). Other customers had complained about the packaging so I was worried about that-- was surprised to find really great packaging. The table tops were wrapped in plastic and thin foam, and then the card board, and on the corners they have plastic braces. Get this-- the parts, even the screws, were all labelled as diagrammed in the instruction manual. And they included a ball-ended allen wrench (the ball-end really helps with those weird angles). Very thoughtfully packaged and presented. Hands down would order again, FOR DWIGHT'S MEGADESK. ... show more

This desk is absolutely gorgeous! Excellent quality, very sturdy (and therefore, heavy). I typically have my boyfriend put our furniture together, but decided to try to do it on my own this time and it was VERY easy. Took me about 1 hour to do and had zero issues. I will say my desk came with no blemishes whatsoever, but I can certainly see how others would arrive damaged. The way it is packaged is very dangerous to the "wood" -- the top of the desk is packaged directly against the cardboard box with no padding. So I guess I got lucky. I really like this desk! I needed something big enough to work at from home and then potentially put a gaming PC on in the future. It was so easy to put together, the instructions were simple and the frame is gorgeous. A few nit-picky things to note. 1. It’s more of a cherry wood than a light wood 2. it’s not 100% sturdy but I don’t feel like it’ll collapse. it just wobbles a bit when my cat jumps up onto the desk. 3. There isn’t a ton of space between where the inner corner meets (if this makes sense). I wanted a bit more room to really optimize my space and separate my work stuff from my leisure stuff. Despite all my nit-picking I have to give this desk 5 stars because you are getting a deal with this desk. For an L-shape desk at this price I’m so pleased. ... show more

I've been wanting a larger desk since the pandemic started and decided to "splurge" and buy this one and it was exactly what I wanted. First, the desk was super easy to assemble, my husband put it together and had my whole system set up again in about 45 min. Second, the price is really unbeatable for the size. I was a little reluctant as a few reviews said it was flimsy, but once you put it all together, it's very sturdy and the color looks fantastic.
