The media could not be loaded. First of all, why is it so hard to find cute flats in the burgundy/wine color?! Thank goodness for these. I am sometimes a size 8, sometimes an 8.5, and my feet are somewhere between normal and wide width. Amazon recommended a size 8 and I am very pleasantly surprised by their fit, comfort, and stylishness for the price! They feel a bit snug when I first put them on, but it’s like they’re made of a stretchy leather-like material that somehow conforms to my foot very well and doesn’t feel overcrowded, restrictive, or blister-inducing. I’ve never had flats quite like that! The outer fabric has some nap to it, as velvet does, so it looks lighter or darker depending on the direction it’s “brushed” in. I liked these so much I bought them in more colors. I haven’t owned them for long yet, so can’t speak to durability, but so far I am very impressed. ... show more

    • Good Shoes, Inaccurate Sizing!

These are great shoes in the sense that they are MOSTLY exactly as described. The material is lovely, almost like a faux suede, and there is really great comfortable cushioning inside the shoe. The only reason this is getting a 4-star is because the size is seriously off. (I wanted to give it a 3-star, but I'm expecting the shoes to stretch out.) I took to heart the folks who said to order a half or full size up; I ordered a whole size up because I would rather put newspaper into the toes of my shoes than hobble around in something too small. Howsomever, every shoe in my closet - Converse, Jessica Simpson heels, Vince Camuto, Timberland, Nike, etc., (I'm not a snob! All these shoes were bought at outlet stores or on clearance, fyi. I'm a cheap broad!), are ALL size 9 M/regular (I don't need narrow or wide), and they all fit well & comfortably. I only mention all these brands to show that I wear a consistent size 9 across many different brands and styles. SO, I ordered a size 10 for my normally sized 9 tootsies, and let me tell you.... These shoes BARELY fit me! I would've sent them back and reordered a 10.5, but sadly, they didn't offer half sizes. I considered reordering an 11, and maybe I should've, but I didn't do that out of fear that I would need to shove an ENTIRE Sunday newspaper into the toe box to make these shoes fit well in an even BIGGER size. Remember, an 11 would be TWO sizes up, and while I'm normally a 9, the 10s are finding me right up at the end of the toe box with my big toe. So, while I'm not averse to toe box stuffing or moleskin, I think we can all agree an 11 might be too much biggins for me. I like these shoes a lot, and I'm not going to tell people not to order them. You SHOULD order them. I just want you to know that you MAY have to consider ordering up, and maybe substantially so. For reference, my big toe is my longest toe, & that's the one that hits the end of the toe box, if that helps you further understand the fit I have. Please fix your American sizing, shoe company, or at the very least advise people that you run VERY small in your sizes - don't simply rely on reviewers to do that for you, even though we WILL warn others. ... show more

I love these shoes. I always like to have a new pair of black suede flats in my closet. These are perfect with dresses and pants, capris or ankle pants. They are nice quality, very comfortable and true to size. I wore them all winter and the still look new.

I normally wear a 6.5 shoe but these shoes did not come in half sizes which is ridiculous. I ordered a size 7 and they were too big which was not a surprise. A size 6 will be too small. I would have loved these simple red flats. They had a good soft insole and the color was pretty and a good shoe for the price. Now I am back to my search for a cute red flat with some arch support and decent craftsmanship. ... show more

I am usually a size 8 or 8.5 in shoes. Since there weren't half sizes available, and since Amazon's own suggestion was that I would wear a size 8 based on previous orders, I ordered a size 8. They do fit, and I could wear them, but they are a smidge tight. Perhaps they would stretch out. I did just re-order in a size 9, but I believe they may be a bit too loose. I'll decide which is the better option and return the other. Overall, they are a nice looking shoe and comfortable (other than the sizing issue). ... show more
