Work great out of the box just as advertised. It was quite tricky to install on my Meepo Mini 5 at the rear truck but regardless I got it to work. They are incredibly bright with a lot of settings, although they can blind other people from my experience, and like what other reviews stated before I bought these sets of lights. Installed these lights on a Meepo envy. Rode it tonight for over an hour. No moon and super dark. Worked awesome. Will be buying the sl 1000 for my helmet.

Tail lights are perfect all the brackets it comes with are nice but I had to modify mine with vice and a hammer and belt sander to work on my Revel drive because of the motor clearance and the front had mounts had to be modified because the smaller ones would not allow the lights to be turned on correctly (because you need to use two fingers) so I flattened out another bracket and it worked perfect and now is easy to turn on and off. I think the front lights are ok to lacking a bit of brightness and they are more helpful for someone to see you than for you to really see problems in the road because its either the physics of being so low or the brightness is not enough but I also bought the shredlight helmet light and that thing is amazing and is really what you need to see dangerous objects in the road when you are moving fast. I am also going to order two more helmet ligjts to mount on the front of my board to see if this helps with more brightness and they use the same mount slot as the board lights. I do think these are too expensive but they seem to be the only serious players in the skateboard light business so I would say go ahead and spend the extra money and these are a serious product and not some toy light for mounting on bike seat posts. All the different brackets only come in big kit and I could of not gotten everything to work without those. ... show more

    • MUST HAVE lights for night riding.
Great lights (SL-300/SR-1) to see and be seen at night and day rides. I've had complaints about the lights flashing but that means I'm being seen. I use them regularly during the day to stand out... unfortunately they don't help much with bad drivers that don't look both ways.

I just opened up the 2 box’s with lights inside I try turning them on and it works. 5 seconds later I go to click the button again and there’s no click. All it took was 2 or 3 presses on that button and it’s broken already. For such a high price and the fact they are literally just lights, this makes no sense why on earth would I pay this much to recieve a broken light that is currently flashing red as I type this because i can’t even turn it off. I want a refund for sure. ... show more
