I've only done a couple thousand miles in this helmet but so far I love it. I did change to the 31mm cheek pads before extended use. The fit and comfort are perfect for all day use, even on several day trips. Both visors both work great and are easy to use. Vents are easy to use and do provide some cooling, not super but good enough. I still get noise, lots of noise but to be honest I'm not sure there is any way to avoid that, I am after all riding with my head in the wind at highway speeds. The latch on the chin strap is also great and you can work it with or without gloves on. I wear glasses and they slip right on after I put the helmet on and there are no painfull pressure points. Weight hasn't been a problem for me even though I think it is a little heavy in my hands. The "clam shell" is super easy to use and locks up and down very nicely. All in all this is a great helmet.

I have a very large head (63mm) and the 2XL fit me...barely. It is quite comfortable. The quality is obviously high. Everything is well thought out. The pin lock worked perfectly in preventing fogging. I love the chin strap connection after using D rings only in the past. I ride a standard (retro) bike with no fairings, and while the wind noise is noticeable, it is not annoying. There is almost no buffeting. People talk about feeling the air flow through the upper vent, but I never noticed it much. Is it worth the $750 cost? I guess I'd say yes. It is expensive, but in my opinion is the best modular (non carbon fiber) helmet. And I'm worth it!

Bought this hemet to replace a LS2 Valiant II. The LS2 was an XXL and after about 15 min the head pressure made the ride a lot less enjoyable. Did some checking and narrowed it down to the NEOTEC and another. Tried this one; because, it was the closest to the LS2; which, I really liked. The pressure is gone. It is also XXL; but, seems to be more oval. Not a fan of matt colors; but wanted blue and it was advertised as a metallic matt blue. Should have know better...Anything good is hard to get these days. This was pricey; but, I would buy it again if I needed one.

I needed a new helmet and wanted to try a modular.. I looked at all the choices and decided to try the Neotec II based on: 1) Shoei quality, 2), ventilation, 3) replaceable/washable pads, 4) intercom integration, 5) fairly light. PROS: I really like the integrated sun visor, frees you from having to put on sun glasses. The helmet is pretty quiet which helps with the intercom. The sena SRL intercom works well. The "modular" feature of lifting the front of the helmet up is a big plus when it's warm and you need more air. CONS: It's expensive, close to $1K with the intercom. Other than the cost I think it's close to perfect.
