My 11 year old needs to wear a jock strap due to fit and cut of sliding shorts. He pairs the jock strap with a pair of sliding shorts. I have had no complaints on the fit or comfort of this particular jock strap. Unfortunately the cup that came with the xl was too big.

after trying several protective underwear, we realized this was the way to go. Our 12 year old (5’4” 125 lbs) struggled with the “protective underwear” he said they were very uncomfortable, the cup always stuck out and it moved all over the place. So we decided to buy this and give it a try. As a catcher he needs to move a lot, and the cup needs to move with him. This cup and Jock strap do exactly what he needs, he is so happy and he says he completely forgets it’s on, he doesn’t notice it. Note** We did have to cup to a smaller size as the one that came with it was just too big in general, and it took over the entire pants space, making it not comfortable. We bought this for our son. It was true to the size guide and he says its comfortable. Everything is of good quality. My only problem is that the youth size cup is white and red, not white and blue as the pictures show. Being its a gel material, the red looks pink. The band is teeny tiny and it’s unfortunate because my kid is the same size consistently for every baseball equipment I’ve purchased.
