I needed just the base to replace a very cheap one that wasn’t sitting right from the get go and it wasn’t even made of real hardwood, just a cheap pine with some plastic looking coating which scratched easily. This one was maker of real walnut and you can feel the grain and assembly was very straightforward It’s very sturdy with the heavy glass on top , we can even put our feet up on it without it shifting, which we could never do with the old one. ... show more
