its been used but Im not going to go through the trouble of returning it. it is what i ordered but the bristles had a tiny eensie teensy bit of glitter on them and smelled of monomer. the metal lid that comes with the brush is extremely adorable! but inside it had a slight bit of rust showing, again, that this was not a brand new item. im not going through the trouble of returning the item since I can use it but just so you know you might not get something brand new!
