I have used shea butter to moisturize my very dry legs for several years. It is the best natural substance I have found for this purpose. I have tried many different brands, some costing more than $50 for a few ounces. This brand, Okay African Shea Body Butter, is by far the best value. While it is not pure white, as the high end brands say, or whipped to a frothy consistency like some, its effectiveness is just as good. The pale off-white/gray color is not offensive. And the shea butter softens as soon as you rub it. This is a great moisturizer for extremely dry skin, as long as you don't mind being a bit slippery for a while. I highly recommend it. ... show more

The product was not as smooth as other brands that I have used. It was very gritty and left these white beads on my skin despite constant rubbing. I was disappointed because I cannot find shea butter products in my area.
