As it is plastic I didn't think the reflection would be very good but it is very clear and not distorted. It is solid enough without being too heavy. The hook sticks well but it is doesn't look great. A better hook would've made it 5 stars.

I travel frequently, more for business than pleasure, though getting to/from the destination is NOT the best part of the journey. It is all of the travel tips, tactics, and time-savers, that make the overnight stays and long delays less annoying. One of the travel tips I have read is being able to duplicate (as much as possible) the perks of your home bathroom, especially the “grooming part”, when you are in a hotel. The hotels may change city to city, and by hotel brand, but the closer I can replicate my home bathroom the more comfortable I am, and the more I enjoy the stay. This 10.8” by 8” unbreakable (non-glass) shower mirror is one of piece of travel gear I have always hoped for but have also been sadly disappointed by previous attempts to travel with a useful, and unbreakable, mirror. I’m a “shower shaver”, and at home I have a lighted waterproof mirror installed. It doesn’t have to be unbreakable because it is mounted securely to the tile walls of our large “master shower”, and it is fog free and large enough to see my face as I shave (and occasionally cut myself!) This mirror is large enough but also compact enough to stow away in my luggage (I kept the padded envelope to increase travel safety), it can be hung temporarily with a suction cup hanger because it’s very lightweight, and once you remove the clear screen protector, it has a mirror-like surface that is NOT glass. The edges are round, and there is a hole for mounting semi-permanently (with the supplied adhesive hook hanger), or temporarily with a medium to large size suction cup hanger. ... show more

Good shower mirror. Little bigger than I am used to, but that is one of the better aspects, I think. Since its only on a hook too, I can easily take it off and move it to the angles I need when I'm shaving too. Steam hasn't been an issue for it either. Very happy with this mirror

My husband needed a mirror for shaving in the shower, so this is perfect! The base of the mirror is plastic so #1 it won’t rust & #2 if it does fall there won’t be glass in the shower! This mirror also does not fog in the shower which makes it perfect!
