These wheels have removed my need to carry a flashlight at night. Unless I'm going incredibly slow (i.e. I'm texting and don't want to stop, but should) do i stall on small cracks/branches The waves in the wheel really do make a major difference. I can easily roll from the lightest kick. I don't have great vision, residually at night, and after not seeing an acorn i broke my arm at 25 which was VERY embarrassing. After that i ALWAYS carried a flashlight. Till i got these. Now i don't stress on it. I won't say i "roll" over acorns now, but i don't trip on them anymore. Best example i can think of that most experience are those bumps at crosswalks, they're usually yellow and for the blind i believe. On normal wheels they would immediately bring me to a near complete stop and i couldn't make it past them. I used to avoid them because of that and when I couldn't avoid them I'd hop off the board running to catch my board. Now I'll roll over them. Don't get me wrong they do still slow me down but not by that much. I could easily roll over them now. At first I will admit, they feel a bit unbalanced and you feel the wobble, (much like center of gravity shifted ever so slightly from side to side) i noticed most when i was making sharp turns it used to cause me to slip, but I don't have that issue anymore. ive it a little time and youll notice faster speeds and longer distances, with clean wheels just oiled i used to go from the top of a hill about 250-300 feet before going to slow that i was nearly stopped with these i get to 400-450. That's pretty subjective but it's very noticeable when you ride it. I mean I'd doubt the improvement if not my own experience. Overall my best experience is that rocks/sticks/cracks cause less stumbles and trips when you ride. My ONLY kinda issue is they don't last as long as my normal wheels did. Those lasted me a very long time, well i don't have dates but these ones ones need to be replaced and i ride less than i used to. They do lack.. tread? Idk they don't grip the ground correctly. When I try avoiding things. Now i can't verify they go out quicker but they feel like they stopped working faster, and with so much less contact surface and my avoiding so much less things that would wear them down, it's very likely they are going out faster. None the less. I would HIGHLY RECOMMEND these to anyone. I even bought some for my bro, and will buy again.

These sat in my cart for way too long, but after giving my board a full glow-up (fresh grip tape, new design on the bottom), my old wheels just weren’t cutting it. Enter Shark Wheels—and wow. Total game-changer. The funky, wavy shape isn’t just for looks. They make the ride feel more stable under my feet, almost like the board is hugging the ground. They glide over cracks, bumps, and sketchy terrain like it’s nothing. And honestly? They’re pretty cute, too. I wish I’d bought them sooner. I’ll never go back to “regular” wheels again.

I absolutely love my wheels! This has to be one of the smoothest rides I've had, the fact I can roll over grass on corners with minimal speed loss honestly sells it for me in the future. Plus tons of people love to ask about it aswell. Give it a shot! I'd recommend pairing these with some BONES super reds for the most bang for your buck, you will be flying for sure! It fits on perfectly and they have yet to show any signs of wear from daily use, so A+ on the durability! I need to grab a set for my regular deck since I used this one for my longboard.

So the photos provided here aren't the same as the ones on their website. The website photos show the injection from the runners gate and a hint of flashing from the mold line. The packaging also has a fake holographic sticker printed right on the box(not an actual sticker). This lead me to contact customer support and they verified, yes that is how they come. As for the quality of rubber the 78a feels a little tougher than my arbor wheels that are also 78 duro. Reason i bought them was because they work well in the desert and the larger extra 2mm helps with all the rocks. Since plants don't grow here our sidewalks and roads are lined with pebbles and these are versatile for sand, rocks and road. Though if i would off-road with these more often i would recommend their 80mm wheels. Update: been riding these for a while now and the do spit out rocks and easily go over cracks. They create a rumble when you ride but yet they don't wobble. My Test does show them being faster but the rumble makes it feel like the opposite. 4.5 out of 5. Price and misleading package are the reason for loss of star

My daughter begged me to buy her those oddly shaped wheels for her skateboard and stated that those wheels makes her skateboard ride faster than her last wheels that are rounded and doesn’t have to worry about trips or falls from a pebble. Overall my daughter is satisfied with her new wheels and has started skateboarding more often now.

Hmmm I dunno, was I sent knockoffs? Or is their quality control always this bad!? This is the first time I've purchased Shark wheels, so I don't know, but I see quite a few "red flags" that make me suspicious. Product red flags: -The molding quality is pretty poor, lot's of flashing and the remains of the injection moulding holes are barely smoothed off. Except for one wheel where they removed them nicely. -The squiggly contact patches are all different widths from wheel to wheel. Not by much, but visually noticeable. Packaging red flags: (these are what make me think "counterfeit") -I purchased 72MM DNA Wheels, but they came in 70MM SIDEWINDER packaging, What's that about!? -The Holographic sticker on the front is not even a sticker at all, it's printed as part of the box graphics. Not holographic. -There is ZERO Company, Registration or Copyright information anywhere on the packaging, only a URL and a few social links. Also, no product Barcode anywhere.. Pretty sure those are mandatory for packaging/distribution in the US. -There its says "Best By: 2035-11-30" on the barcode sticker on the packaging??? Can't say for sure, but it just seems like too many "coincidences". Im putting these on a Crazy Cart, so I don't care too much about the quality control, but the packaging is too shady to ignore and not to share.
