This mannequin is stunning on it's own, in my opinion. Covering on the torso is a faux soft leather that is surprisingly very real looking and elegant. However, NO PINNING in this mannequin if you want to keep the integrity of this fabric. If you are getting this to use specifically for practical use, it is not made for pinning designs. Use it for staging your ideas or sewing projects or like I do, a place to drape new scarf and necklace designs - any type of work that does not require pins. Use it for unique decor in your home or shop or workspace too. Base of stand is HEAVY HEAVY HEAVY and will withstand the jostle and pulling/pushing that happens in practical application in designing working garments and accessories.

This is a very durable, solid feeling dress form. The base is very heavy but lined with a felt so it doesn’t scratch my hardwood floors. The material over the form feels like a pleather - kind of like a shiny leather but made from more of a rubber feeling material. It’s unusual but I can see that dust won’t stick to it like the cloth covered white dress form I have. I can remove the material on the white one and wash it, and it doesn’t look like you can remove the black cover, at least not easily but with it’s slick nature, I don’t think I’ll need to. I love that it has two spots to attach it to the support pole, in the center as usual, or on the side, for pants. My white dress form’s wooden base is much more likely to tip over, I like the look but it’s not as sturdy. The black Sharewin dress form is very solid and won’t tip easily. Also, the topper for the dress form screws in and stays put. The top piece on my white one is only placed on top and falls off all the time, I really like that this new one is attached firmly. The form was packed securely and easy to put together. The only caution is that you tighten a metal screw on the bottom of the form directly to the gold colored metal pole. I can see this being a very easy way to scratch the finish.

And what a HUGE improvement upon my previous one, which is composed of all metal and connects together that way….but just barely. It is so inconvenient and doesn’t like staying together. Making using it, for the creation of clothing, a real pain. But NOT THIS ONE! This form is lovely, made EXCEPTIONALLY WELL, and with fabrics and cushions that are easily pinned and shaped upon. I love it! It’s a good size too. And it being made of fabrics, it will be easy to adjust its size/shape for the making of a variety of styles and sizes. It’s also very nice looking. Very sleek and modern. I love, love, LOVE IT!

This dress form mannequin is very well made, good quality and a nice design. Functions well for displaying clothing, using with a craft project or for a seamstress specializing in sewing clothing. It is a wonderful tool to have on hand. This will be used mostly for sewing projects. Very happy with the quality and ease of assembly. Definitely recommend.

The build of this is perfect! I use this to model my designs on and really think it elevates my product photos. The build is that of a woman's small to medium, somewhere in the middle. It was incredibly easy to assemble, took maybe five minutes! Exactly what I needed and I have no complaints.
