I purchased this bra for post surgery breast reduction. I had some complications 48 hours after surgery my auto immune disorder caused me to break out in severe hives along all the incisions as well as reacting internally where the stitches that dissolve were. Im including this information because my Dr told me to get a 100% cotton bra thinking that would help. It made it worse because the fibers irritated it more. I finally got a steroid shot but they don't work immediately. Thank God I chose this bra to try. After everything I tried - and it is critical to wear a bra 24/7 after a reduction, it was actually SOOTHING put this on. It isn't a true compression bra, but it is soft where the sutures are under the breast so it doesn't rub or irritate the incisions. I ordered the nude and white. I found that the nude was actually softer and fit better. Color in fabrics actually does make a difference in most clothes & how they fit. I worked in retail and know you can try on the exact style and brand of anything, especially things like black and white jeans and they will not be the same fit. The only change I'd like to see regarding this bra would be adjustable straps. They will stretch and depending on your breast, shoulder width and body type the straps might need altering to get the best support, especially over time. So purchase the same color if you want to be sure about fit. Also, purchase 3 - one to wear, one that's being washed, and one to rest. Body oils can deteriorate fabric fibers and bras in particular lose their shape and support ability. ... show more

I am a 40ddd, so got the 3x. (tried 2x and cups were too small but rest fit) I did have to shorten the straps by an inch each (cut and sew), and the straps still stretch so much the back comes to my waistline, but so comfy - no braline bulge anywhere. If you look closely at the models, theirs all come to the waistline in back too. I took a star off because there just isn't enough structure to replace an underwire completely, but when one wants comfort over structure this is bliss. It still has some structure - it stops complete flopping, but isn't sports bra support. It also looks better under tank tops and sundresses IMHO. ... show more

I like that this is comfortable. I wish I could find a wire-free bra that doesn’t look wire-free. But so far, I like the wide band and wide straps. It’s true that the straps aren’t adjustable but that’s not really necessary with this design. I’m wondering how it will stand up to being washed. I am comfortable, and that is of course the most important thing to me. Got a size L and it’s working for me. Usually a 38C, for reference. I will buy one or two more if it can handle being washed and line-dried. I won’t be crabby about the price then. ... show more

I love this bra. I got the 3X, as I am 5’6” and about 260lb. unfortunately. I had two of the same in a 2X, and they just started to feel like I was spilling out of them (still fit though). I recently bought one in a size 3X and coverage felt much better, however the shoulder straps were a little loose and not adjustable. Still a much better fit at my current weight. That said, I bought another 3X and the fit felt a little different (I did not have this issue with the two 2Xs I purchased a few years ago). The breast coverage on the sides felt the same, but in front seemed lower. I hope this makes sense and helps out. I like this for the stretch, fit, and not shifting. The only thing I've found as a down side from it being perfect is the straps roll in on themselves over my shoulders for being a soft fabric, compared it they were a a flat laying ribbon type strap as other bras have. Pros: This bra is the most comfortable I have ever worn. I bought it for day-to-day because my others had me climbing the walls after a few hours. It is wire-free, so there is no digging, and the band keeps it neatly in place. I am a 38DD, and this gives me the support I need. Con: The only reason I am not giving it five stars is because the strap is not adjustable. I understand Shapermint has more bras with a strap adjustment, and I plan to try one. Without it, the girls sit about an inch lower than I'd prefer. I also plan to stitch the straps to pull it up just a bit. ... show more

I am hard to fit and this bra is a little roomy for every day wear. However, it is comfortable and can be worn well under looser tops. No complaints since I was not personally fitted; this was a fair price for a good, standard wireless bra.

I love the fabric, the straps, the stretch, and the design. However, the band around my rib cage is very snug. I ordered 3X, but it feels like 2X. I will keep it because i like it, but will not be able to wear it for long periods of time.
