The cloth was good and thick. I would have preferred them to have some compression. The waistband is elastic. That being the only compression part gives the body a squeezed sausage look. The stitching wasn't the best quality. The scrunch is intense and flattering. These are good for an emergency like all your shorts are in the wash but defiantly not a first choice. ... show more

I loved the shorts once I took the tiny added band out of the waist. I ordered either large or extra large, it had an elastic band around the wait that could fit my daughter. But once it was cut out, they were great!
