The bra itself is nice. I already bought another kind of this brand, this being my 2nd one. I love the look and the feel of the bra, but... I cannot wear any bra that stabs me in the back and or shoulder. It has something sharp and I cannot find where the sharp piece is. I have had this happened with other bras and because of it I cannot wear it. The first day I wore it was perfectly fine and then midway the next time of wearing it, it's hurting somewhere on my back shoulder area. So frustrating as I struggle to find bras that works. Maybe I just got a bad one and I hope the other one I ordered first doesn't start to do this. So, the bra was amazing for 1.5 days and now I cannot use it. 😞 I attached a picture, which I don't like doing because it's showing my body, but I wanted to show the proof. There was actually more red area to it and by the time I took the picture it was fading. Yes it's a small area, but it's soooo uncomfortable! Update: less than a month and more issues. I did find a solution for the sharp scratchy piece on the strap. I am using KT Tape (kinesiology therapeutic tape) in the spot on my back where the strap is scratching me and it reduces the scratching feeling to where I barely feel it. But yesterday a short time of wearing the bra I went to take it off because it was hurting my chest and half of the hooks were undone. I thought maybe I did it accidentally, which I don't know how I would have, and then again today I have the bra on and it's down to the last couple hooks. So, it's just coming undone. The bra fits me, it's just a terrible design and again I have bought 2 kinds, both terrible. I marked it down to 1 star now. They both hurt my chest, both have too many issues. I will never buy another Shapermint bra of any kind again. Someone from the company did reach out and tried to replace it. I am glad I said no! ... show more

I got this bra with high hopes and expectations and have been left a little disappointed after all the hype. The bra is fairly comfy but I struggled to find my "right size". I ordered a XL (36DDD) and found it smooshed my chest too much so I went to a 2XL and the band is too loose but the cups fit much better. The band does roll up and does not lie smoothly. I kept the bra and ordered another as they work but they definitely aren't as great as everyone said. I will also say that the bra does give nice lift, the back is smoothing and the straps are wide and secure. It could just use a little tweaking to make it better. ... show more

I really wanted to love this bra. It is pretty and feels nice to the skin. I seem to have the same problems other larger busted women have remarked about. The cups slightly dig in pushing my breasts down so you end up with little bulges out the top-ie. the cup needed to be more full coverage. The sides are a couple inches wide but also seem to just push what’s underneath out the top and into my armpit. The under boob band seems ok. I used the extender to make it a bit more comfortable-so that is a nice included item. The extra material they have over the cups to smooth does a good job of smoothing but also rolls up in the front and sides. The back seems to be fine although the extender does itch with the connection making direct contact with my skin. I do feel this bra does give me support without using underwires, and does stretch with you. However, with the cup size being less than full coverage, I tend to spill out if I bend over to pick something up. I don’t particularly like that since I then have to rearrange the ta-tas back in place. I did grab this when it went on sale which was enough of a carrot to make me give it a try. Overall, this is not a fav, and it is better suited for small-medium busted women. ... show more

No support, lots of bounce, with very narrow elasticized straps. Even if you tighten the straps, it just isn’t enough to support my 44D body. Looks and fits absolutely nothing like the photos pictured. Sides and back are quite narrow, so doesn’t offer any extra coverage for my “underarm or back fat” problem areas. Online picture looks like it offers extra coverage, almost like a sports bra, which it does not. Returning. How disappointing. Cup size is fine, it’s just the quality and design that are lacking. I can’t believe how comfortable they are with better support than the underwire style. They even come with an extension just in case you need a little extra room.
