This seems to be a quality topper. We liked that they have colors other than white or black. The material seems at least as thick as what was there, but since it was ridiculously old, hard to compare. Can't say the installation was easy, but I think that's the nature of these beast. I was able to remove and install 2 toppers myself working from the roof. Had to have help on the other one because of the mounting arm for the patio awning over the topper awning. I had no issues with any of the 3 toppers we bought, all were the advertised size and cut straight from the factory.
