In the countryside of the frozen North, a senior citizen's slip & fall on the ice can be extremely serious - literally even Life & Death. I bought 2 sets of these Sfee crampons, one for my wife & one for myself. I must tell you: The sizes run a little SMALL. They are sized to fit over leather ( combat boot style ) footwear, and NOT winter overshoes or boots. I did manage to stretch a size XL over my size 11 winter boots, but it took some real effort...they will not fit on a size 12. The crampons are good quality, provide solid, reliable footing on snow/ ice / or a mix on concrete/frozen ground. as well aa uneven surfaces. I've owned dozens of sets of the cheaper cleats - never again! These are the "Real Deal" - Secure, Solid, Reliable, and the kind of quality that you'll use year after year. Highly Recommended - just be sure to buy one size larger than you think you need, if you plan to use them on boots ( Overshoes )

***UPDATE AFTER ALMOST 2 MONTHS*** Bought these on Nov 11th— it’s now Jan 6th. I wear them almost constantly— nearly 5 days a week, for 12+hrs a day on mostly snow/ice covered asphalt, cement, and a soft forklift floor. 2 major issues— the main one being, and I know it sounds silly, but I’m pretty sure the cleats have worn flat. I don’t seem to have nearly the same grip that I did in the beginning. I find myself slipping constantly now. Bare ice, or flat, smooth ice is the worst culprit. If there’s a light snow pack, it’s still ok but that kinda defeats the purpose of ICE cleats. The second issue I have, having previously mentioned how bulbous the toe box is on my BOG composite toes, I find that the front half of these CONSTANTLY slip off over the front of my boot, especially when my boot gets wet from melted snow or slush. I’m sure that I could solve this problem by getting the next size up, but where the picks aren’t really grippy anymore, I’m going to simply switch types and brands. It’s a good thing these are relatively inexpensive. SECOND LONG STORY SHORT— They’re decent if you’re a regular mover&shaker in the winter time I suppose. But if you’re like me, and seem to work more than you sleep/spend at home, it’s not really worth it unless you intend to replace them every few months for a fresh pair. Have reduced my 5***** down to 3. Definitely an average product for average use. INITIAL REVIEW(11/11/2025) Let’s preface this review by saying that I work outside for a living, 60+ hrs a week. I also live in Maine, Satan’s snowy destination holiday resort. Last winter, I fell at work due to poorly sanded parking lots and cracked my skull off the pavement and was put on “light duty” for 8 days due to a concussion. This winter, I was not about to let that happen again. Now, in the winter, I wear men’s size 8.5W composite toed BOGS. The pull on, rubber rain boot style with the insulation. BOGS are notoriously bulbous in the toe box, especially mine, since they are composite toed and wide, so I was a little concerned with the sizing on these cleats. I absolutely love these cleats. The first time I put them on over my boots was a bit of a challenge to get them to stretch, but once they were on, they certainly aren’t going anywhere. I ordered the size “Large” and they are definitely tight and snug over my boots. The only thing I’ve noticed is the toe likes to slip down a bit to the front of my boot because they are stretched so tight (and like I said BOGS are particularly bulbous on the front) but it doesn’t take away from the “cleat” ability and I’m sure if you had normal boots, they’d be perfectly fine. The cleats work so well in the snow and ice. I feel completely secure no matter where I’m walking. The only slight annoyance I’ve found is I wish the cleat surface area was a little bit larger. Walking on them feels like walking on little rubber pads on the balls/heels of my feet so it takes some time getting used too. I’ve worn them for the last 2 days, 12 hrs days outside, and my feet don’t really hurt at the end of the day when I take them off. As for the durability, we’ll have to see how they hold up at the end of the winter. So far, 10/10 would recommend.

These are worth every penny. I live in the country, the walkway from my driveway to my home is a hillside and always super icy in the winter. These gripped very well! I did not slip once, the few times I’ve used them now. Sizing is accurate. Very well made.
