The asymmetric tread design ensures an excellent all weather traction, while the circumferential grooves prevent hydroplaning by dispersing water. The three center ribs boost the tire’s controllability, in other words the steering responsiveness and driving stability, and mage to shorten the braking distance greatly. The outer shoulder tread blocks increase the cornering and maneuvering ability and power. The Octa s a quiet drive with the reduced road noise levels. I put these tires on my 2000 GMC Jimmy. this SUV has been lowered to the ground by past owners and is my backup to my backup vehicle. I normally just buy used tires for this rig for $60 a pop and get some dry-rotted crap that leaks air. so I decided to buy 4 of the cheapest new tires on Amazon I could find, and I could not be happier. these tires are rated for truck and SUV use, and on the side wall, it says treadwear 400, which means 40,000 miles... the tires seem pretty nice and deliver a nice smooth ride and grip well in the rain. they are very decent for the price: four new tires to my door for $280.70 and $25.00 a tire to mount and balance at the local Mexican tire shop for a grand total of $380.70 what a deal! instead of $240 for used garbage tires from the same tire shop. you decide what you want and need for your truck, but these tires were a no-brainer for me... ... show more

I received 4 good tire but the size was wrong. My car needs 225x56xR18 Now l need a return label to send back a set of 2 tires because UPS refused to pack 4 tires on 1 return label.

Wife hit a pothole and busted a belt. She said she had a friend. Nope stop right there. I bought her these. They came recommended by car people and working with tires they worked great with a 2004 Monte Carlo SS.
